• Currently involved in the modelling, loading, analysis, and design of concrete and steel structures, adhering to company standards (KOC & KNPC) and international norms & American standards.
• Review project-related documents, scope of works, project technical specifications, geotechnical investigation reports, topographical survey reports, slit trench reports, and vendor drawings for equipment package items.
• Carried out field surveys to gather essential engineering data, ensuring comprehensive information.
• Prepare General Arrangement and Detail drawings of RCC and steel structures in strict accordance with contract requirements. Document all activities in alignment with contract documentation requirements.
• Perform adequacy analysis of existing structures and engage in reverse engineering as necessary.
• Prepare Design Basis, In-house spread sheets for design. Prepare Material take-offs.
• Manage functioning’s of the TEKLA team, reviewing structural steel connections, coordinating with TEKLA modelers, steel fabricators, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of fabrication drawings.
• Coordinate the SP3D modelling team, reviewing Smart Plant models, cross-checking clash detection, and interact inter-departmental efforts in model development, attend model reviews.
• Liaise with Project Technical services teams, KOC and KNPC Authorities for attaining approval of design drawings and documents.
• Responsible for preparation of Design Change, Field Change Notes & Field Modifications Notes. resolving technical issues arises during design and construction stage. Contribute to the project completion until submission of Dossier.
Accomplishments
1. Analysis and prepare detailed engineering design calculation of residential, commercial and industrial buildings respect to codes specification with STAAD PRO software, work sheets and manual techniques.
2. Furthermore I have worked under some rehabilitation and strengthening of existing structures projects.
Responsibilities
1.Engineering support to the implementation of the projects for the modification, optimization of system.
2. Review Architectural drawing, Technical specifications.
3. Scrutinize and optimize the final design outputs.
4. Provide design output, Sketches, Coordinate drafting persons for effective detailing.
5. Interact with the clients on design issues for deliver the details as per their requirements.
6.Liaison with Architects, Project engineers, Consultants, Clients.
