Procurement Responsibilities
- Forecasting likely levels of demand for services and products in cooperation with field operation engineers to meet the business needs and keeping a constant check on stock levels to maximize business efficiency;
- Conducting research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality;
- Liaising between suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal departments and customers;
- Identifying potential suppliers, visiting existing suppliers, and building and maintaining good relationships with them;
- Negotiating and agreeing contracts and monitoring their progress - checking the quality of service provided;
- Develop and implement systems that ensure goods, products, and services are acquired at the best price, quality, quantity, time needed, and from the best sources through continuous operational and supplier review, evaluations, and improvements
- Enforce purchasing policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure purchases are requested and buys are made in compliance with SOX, and internal auditory requirements through continuous review of day-to-day purchasing activities.
- Processing payments and invoices;
- Keeping contract files and using them as reference for the future;
- Forecasting price trends and their impact on future activities;
- Giving presentations about market analysis and possible growth;
- Developing an organization’s purchasing strategy;
- Producing reports and statistics using SAP ERP;
- Evaluating bids and making recommendations based on commercial and technical factors;
- Ensuring suppliers are aware of business objectives;
- Attending meetings and trade conferences;
- Training and supervising the work of other members of staff
Logistics Responsibilities
- Order management of IBM, Lenovo, OEM Machines which include Laptops, X-Series, Blue Gene servers.
- Order Management of Cisco products
- Follow up with manufacturing units/Plants for order fulfillment.
- Responsible for Logistics handling, Import, Export, CHB, Warehousing, Last Mile deliveries.
- Supply Chain Logistics Planning & Handling of the Complete Project Logistics covering Import Operations, LC Compliance, Project's Supply Chain Invoices,
- Handling of Freight at Port of arrival, Customs Clearance Management, Approval and verification of Import duties,
- Development of KPI's for the Effective management of Supply Chain Operations.
- Responsible to verification and release of payments to clearing agents.
- Resolve problems and issues that may arise with incorrect or incomplete product deliveries, supplier problems, invoice discrepancies, etc., using problem identification and resolution models
- Establish, maintain, and manage a network of qualified and dependable sources of supply using supplier performance matrix and capability checklists

- Design and implement Logistics structure for the company.
- Development of KPIs for effective management of supply chain operations.
- Enforce purchasing policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure purchases are requested and buy are made in compliance with internal auditory requirements through continuous review of day-to-day purchasing and order activities.
- Managing imports and export operations from end to end

- Prepare shipping documents according to KSA customs policies.
- Import of trees and plants (flowers) from Italy, Egypt, and Thailand.
- Procurement of trees and plants from Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- Coordinate with Logistics’ partners for custom clearance issues of shipments.
- Coordinate with warehouse team for proper inventory management.
- Coordinate with site agriculture engineers for daily on site deliveries.
- Manage Transportation of items from warehouse to site deliveries.
- Coordinate with finance for verification of 3PL vendor invoices.
- Coordinate with finance for arranging L/C’s for imports of shipments.

- Complete E2E Supply Management of GSM Project Customer PTML, Warid, Telenor, DV-Com, PTCL Covering Order Management, Order Fulfillment.
- Ownership of CR/CA Projects of Nortel Pakistan, Malaysia and Indonesia and Singapore to improve operating cost of Logistics and Efficient management of Budgets Management of Inventory Cycle Counts and External Audits.
- Coordination with FBR, Income Tax, Sales Tax, and Customs Directorate for compliance and smooth Operations,
- Coordination with Civic Bodies & Cantonment Board Management for the work permits in restricted areas.
