• Review of sea Food purchasing arrangements with suppliers including price, delivery, performance and discounts to achieve reduced supply chain costs to the company.
• Develop, compile, reconcile, and/ or update information in vendor and stock databases to provide effective processing, information management and reporting.
• Co-ordinate the overall operation of company’s purchasing function to ensure services are provided at the most competitive rates.
• Obtain quotations for the purchase of sea Foods to limits authorized by the Local Government resolutions.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure the most up-to-date data is available for the supply of marine.
• Monitor organizational procurement trends and implement improved procedures.
• Ensure all Local Government Act, Department of Local Government and GCC requirements are adhered to relating to procurement specifically tendering processes for procuring
sea food.
• Audit and provide key advice in developing, reviewing and implementing purchasing processes and practice.
•To develop contact with buyers and procurement.
•To identify business partners for client exporters (Sea Food).
•To advise client exporters on appropriate market entry strategies for specific markets.
•To strengthen the relationship with client companies in order to encourage and support their commitment to sea Food (Marine) export growth.
•To monitor the performance of exports and exporters, and provide senior management with an early warning if there is an adverse shift in the host country's economic climate.

Overall in charge of Exports, Import & international marketing of frozen / Canned fruits & vegetables & all related activities including. Liaisoning with Customs, DGFT, Regulatory Authorities, Overseas Importers & Vendors including suppliers of machineries & certification agencies. Reporting to MD.

Overall in charge of administration, International marketing, Seafood production & Exports , Quality Control, Food Safety Management. Co-ordinating with Directors, Regulatory Authorities, Financial Institution, Vendors for EU approved Seafood Processing Factory . Oversee all aspects of operations within the company and factory.

Co-ordinating the entire supply chain of shrimp export Purchase, Production, Quality Control, Food Safety Management - sanitation - Hygiene, Sales, Shipment. Built up a state of art seafood processing Factory ( EU Approved ) in compliance with HACCP & EU regulations. In charge of the Total Factory facilities & administration.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Procurement & Finalising Orders of all Machineries & equipment, vehicles, all items related to food safety Management
- Leader of the HACCP team & EIA approved Technologist for inspection of Fish & Fishery Products in EU approved unit. Periodic meetings and audit of HACCP system .
- Liaison with the operations of other sections of quality assurance, technical, administration, accounts, marketing and associate with the routine activities in purchase, pre-processing, processing, freezing, storage and shipment.
- Responsible to maintain the work environments and worker related issues.
- Responsible for costing and regularly arranging raw materials and other inventories.
- Ensure the safety and quality of the process and products to the standards.
- Attend third party inspections, monitoring and verifications of related departments.
- Verify all the documents of the related activities.
- Achieve targeted production and shipments, liaisoning with shipping lines, C&F agent, Customs.
- In-charge of all the vehicles of the plant
- Handle worker related matters for effective and smooth flow of work.

Job Profile: Officer Inspector-Purchasing Agent
• Coordinates activities involved with procuring warm water Shrimps-Fish as raw block frozen cargo or any value added items from Exporter-Shipper clients as per Importer’s /Principal's instructions & specifications. Acts as a buffer in between Exporter & Importer clients to maintain stable & prospective relationship.
• Local market survey, Keeping close contacts with Farmers, Suppliers, Exporters & developing personal relationship to obtain best quality product offers, valuable market information, such as pricing, stocks, availability, & delivery-shipment schedule.
• Determines method of procurement & purchase order on approval by Principal & negotiates contracts within budgetary limitation & scope of the authority.
• Maintains computerized procurement records, such as items or products purchased, pricing / preparing quotations, shipment, product quality, performance of the product after reaching destination.
• Pre-shipment quality inspection, Discuss defective or unacceptable quality with concerned department or personnel of the packer/shipper to determine source of trouble & take corrective action.
• Pre & Post Shipment documentation & follow up with shippers for shipments, banking formalities & regulations, having knowledge of International shipping & freight forwarding procedures
• Familiar with Export - Import documentation, & functions related to Customs, Port & health authority.
