540 MW-Power Plant Worora MIDC Chandrapur (M.S)
Working as Area concern for 4x440TPH Pulverised flow (PF), 14.29MPa, 540OC Boilers, 13.73MPa, 537OC, 285.44TPH clockwise Turbine and CHP & AHP for 4x135 MW.
Erection and Commissioning of Distributed Control Systems (DCS-GE-OC4000 V6.3 SP5), OPC server, networking, and communication interfacing.
Application engineering tools read/edit knowledge (documentation tool, history, alarm, SOE etc.). Configuring tag points and designing the MIMICs using Maker application Netwin V6.0. Modbus communication and data mapping from DCS to OPC server/ OPC_Client. Modbus, Protocols, Field bus communications. Fibre optic communication, Ethernet, RS-232/485 communications. Knowledge on OSI model (TCP/IP, UDP Base Port).
Checking DCS and PLCs Loop from field equipment & logics development in DCS (OPC 4000 GE MAKE) and also Process monitoring for the healthiness of Plant and resource utilisation.
Software testing, Backup and maintenances for PLCs, DCS and Network Communication equipment.
Mounting, erection and commissioning of Forbes Marshall make CEMS analyzers in chimney -2 for effective monitoring of SOX, NOX & CO as per MPCB norms.
Developed new concept to ensure accuracy of coal measured at loading point and the coal transported to plant from port and siding by ensuring the accuracy of weighing system at loading points by ensuring/inspecting weigh bridges at loading point.
Preparation of SMPs, SCPs and SOPs for routine maintenance activity.
Interlocks & protection, verifying logics and testing field instrument during Annual Overhauls of all units.
Handling: -
o Calibration of control valves & transmitter, Calibration of Belt Scale and Impact flow matter (Ash).
o Mounting of equipment as per P&I Diagrams.
o Safety & process interlocks checking as per the logics.
o Managing the critical Instrument spare and procuring the same to reduce the MTBF of Machine.
o Leading the implementation of qualitative assurance across Raw Materials, Work In Progress, Troubleshooting & fault finding in the running plant.
Notable Highlights:
Correction of Belt scale mounting and coal feeder re-commissioning, it’s Calibration for quantitative Raw material feeding, Successfully completed.
AHP Ash silo NO, 1, 2, 3 &4 impact type flow meter erection and commissioning work completed.
Configuration of Daily report parameter and Heatrate calculation
Spearheaded operations maintenance 1X30MW, 1X25 MW and 1X15 MW thermal power plant having boiler of capacity, 130tph, 110tph & 40tph AFBC boilers AND 46tph, 2X36tph WHR boilers. Involved in operation and maintenance.
Maintenance and breakdown work for Different instruments: Smart Temperature and Pressure Transmitters, Differential Pressure Transmitter, Inductive / Capacitive Proximity, Level Sensor, Ultrasonic Level Sensors, Pressure Switches, Speed Monitoring Equipment etc.
Bentley Nevada vibration monitoring system 3300 & 3500 and its programming, monitoring and trouble shooting.
Backup and maintenances for PLCs and Network Communication equipment.

In pf fired boiler there is ball mills & big coal feeder which having oil lubrication system & no of protection like temperature sensor, oil level switches. in boiler corner flame scanner & igniters operated as per interlocks & start permissive
Repairing of cylinders, limit switches sensors.
Repeated failure of SADC positioners due to ingress of oil in instrument air avoided by installing air filter regulator.
Auto opening of SADC damper to 35% for given corresponding gun taken into service.
Commissioning activities of boiler equipments. Like ID, FD, PA, SA, BFP Fans interlocks & trail taken with safety.
