Job Responsibilities:
•Installation and maintenance of Various NORTEL Optical equipments like N6100, N6200, N6300, and N6500 series.
•Filed level trouble shooting of optical network related issues.
•Fiber management in ODF, FMS and E1 cable routing &splicing.
•Hands on experience in OTDR, Acterna Optical Power Meters, Light sources and Optical Attenuators, RF Power meters (Agilent & Anritsu), etc.
•OTDR Testing of Fiber& Analysis of OTDR Traces for locating fiber cuts and its resolution.
•Installation & maintenance of NEC Paso+ & Paso link, CERAGON 6 GHz, 7GHz, 15 GHz &18 GHz Microwave equipments.
•Breakdown, Corrective and Preventive maintenance of the transport elements up to STM-64 level, data (Routers) duct, Microwave SDH & PDH equipments, fiber and Utilities equipment in the various facilities assigned against the respective geography as per the processes defined in procedures

Job Responsibilities:
•Installation, Networking, Conducting AT (Acceptance Test) and Maintenance of MLLN Tellabs Equipments in various BSNL & MTNL Telecom Circles which includes DXC-8170 (Digital Cross Connect), VMUX-8150 (Versatile Multiplexer), NTU (Network Terminating Unit).
•Providing telephonic technical support from TELLABS 8100 (NMS) Network ManagementSystem to field technicians.
•Self-Diagnostic/software loops to check E1 connectivity to DAAC, VMUX software loops for checking copper pair at NTU point for immediately identifying the faulty section for trouble shooting.
•On site trouble shooting of MLLN Network nodes.
•Software up-gradation of MLLN nodes.
•Configuring & Circuit creating of MLLN network.
