* Participated in various Contingency drills conducted at the Mall.
* Compliance with applicable laws, rules & regulations by Mall Management.
* Ensure proper investigation, follow-up & implementation of corrective actions following investigations.
* Compliance with applicable laws, rules & regulations according to ISPS Code and as stated in the Company’s Safety
Management System (SMS).
* Investigating & preparing detailed Incident & Accident reports in the Info Ship, which occurs onboard the vessel as
well as ashore.
* Provide & manage Shipboard Security Trainings as per SMS to Security Officers and sign-on Team members during
weekly orientation.
* Being a Safety Representative onboard, part of Carnival Safety Initiative program, ensured that all aspects &
guidelines of Company’s OH&S are effectively followed & applied by the Security Officers as well as the team
members onboard.
* Ensure proper investigation, follow-up & implementation of corrective actions following accident investigations &
that respective department managers participate in the accident investigation process. Striving for the Company’s
goal of ‘Zero Accidents’ onboard. In addition, an active member of the Accident Investigation Focus team onboard &
report safe & unsafe acts onboard.
* During ship’s operation, immediately reported any Environmental incidents to the EOSO onboard that might have an
Environmental impact.
* Successfully completed Internal (SMS) & External (ISPS + Lloyd’s) Audits and HESS audit pertaining to Security
Services Department onboard.
* Preparing daily summary & Incident reports and forwarding it to the Chief Security Officer onboard.
* Perform duties & responsibility in absence of the Chief Security Officer.
* Supervision of Security Officers working onboard the vessel. Briefing & assigning them duties as per situation
onboard.
* Communication & interaction with USCBP Officers, USCG & Local Authorities in U.S. & other foreign ports
pertaining to any security related incidents.
* Coordinating with Senior Management while conducting various periodic Emergencies, Safety & Security drills
and exercises involving all departments onboard
