I. Provide analytical inputs to the elaboration and implementation of operational strategies focusing on achievement of the following: • Establishing useful, practical and efficient local vendor roaster;
• Elaborating specific and measurable requirements for registration of local vendors;
• Developing Contract strategy, sourcing strategy, quality management and supplier
selection;
• Participate in providing inputs to improve the procurement manual of UNOPS.

II. Support management of procurement processes for projects with a focus on achieving of the following: • Provide support to procurement officer in analysis of procurement plans;
• Procures equipment, goods and services at the best value, consistent with UNOPS Financial
Rules Regulations, guidelines from Donor Agreements. Activities to be performed includes
organization of RFQ, ITB or RFP, receipt of quotation, bids or proposals, their evaluation, issuing
award recommendation and securing most advantages procurement terms and conditions;
• Liaise with suppliers concerning performance issues and concerns;
• Weekly Submission of Procurement status reports;
• Liaise with Logistics unit on delivery of goods, to understand if there are any issues with Fuel
Contract, Fleet Rental Contract, etc.

procurement terms and conditions;
• Preparation and dispatching of Purchase Orders, Contracts, Amendments ensuring that all
specifications, terms and conditions are clear and correct in conformity with the internal control
system;
• Preparation of submissions for review by HQCPC and LCPC, as applicable;
• Maintains constant liaison with vendors and consignees until safe delivery of goods.

Develop and update of the rosters of suppliers, implementation of supplier selection and evaluation / Consulting agencies and consultants. Creating vendors in Atlas and follow up for the approvals.
IV.Liaise with the Logistic and Administrative Staff for the purchase and inspecting the items / supply of works and services.
V.Coordinating with Logistics to ensure all the Non-expendable items and expendable Items registered into Inventory list.
