HR Strategy & Plan Implementation
 Key role in liaison with General Manager in delivering HR strategy for the business and an annual HR Plan
 Strategize plans and oversee the progress against the plan to the HR function and the Business Units
 Create and support a continuous improvement environment for HR activities within the Business Units

Business Partnering
 Pivotal role as a trusted business partner and mentor supervisors and managers
 Accountable for assisting line managers across the business units
 Assess the employee engagement of the business units and implement necessary actions
 Advice, coach and mentor management and team on people-related issues
 Effectively participate in developing and implementing departmental and individual KPIs

Workforce Optimization
 Play an advisory role in creating and managing a lean and multi-skilled workforce
 Assist in the implementation of business structure reorganization and consolidation to deliver efficiencies
 Play a key role in communicating organizational messages and monitoring feedback within the business units
 Manage leave policy of over 18000 employees handling leaves of approximately 800 to 900 employees monthly
 Ensure compliance with localization policy and targets
 Calculate the final settlement and end of service benefits of leavers and issue experience certificates

Employee Relations:
 Supervise Employee relations issues within the business units
 Act as an advisor to line managers in order to educate them and minimize risk
 Ensure compliance with local law & company policy throughout the employee lifecycle
 Communicate and implement changes to HR policies and procedures.
 Ensure disciplinary procedure is properly applied before any employee is exited from the business

Performance Management
 Develop a performance focused culture where high performers are rewarded and inadequate performers are given an opportunity to enhance or terminated
 Ensure compliance with annual appraisal review: that all staff are properly appraised and have proper objectives/KPI
 Ensure all pay increases, bonus or incentive awards, and promotion proposals are justified and comply with policy
 Supervise the salary and bonus review processes in line with company policies & procedures
 Motivate employees and enhance performance by developing recognition initiatives

Financial Management
 Provide line management with regular and accurate reporting of employee costs
 Ensure annual manpower budgeting exercise is conducted accurately and efficiently
 Ensure HR Team adherence to the business' financial systems & processes

Recruitment
 Specify key local recruitment requirements, communicate and discuss the same with General Manager
 Liaise with line managers to ensure all recruits are of an acceptable standard and are thoroughly reference checked
 Ensure all new recruitments are in line with the GHQ clearance
 Implementation and management of a nationalization program with the aim of attracting high caliber candidates

Administration
 Ensure all required HR administrative processes are executed efficiently and with impeccable attention to detail
 Ensure reporting hierarchy and organization unit structure is kept up to date
 Act as HR system champion and participate in system design and testing when required
