HR Strategy & Plan Implementation
Key role in liaison with General Manager in delivering HR strategy for the business and an annual HR Plan
Strategize plans and oversee the progress against the plan to the HR function and the Business Units
Create and support a continuous improvement environment for HR activities within the Business Units
Business Partnering
Pivotal role as a trusted business partner and mentor supervisors and managers
Accountable for assisting line managers across the business units

Employee Relations:
Supervise Employee relations issues within the business units
Act as an advisor to line managers in order to educate them and minimize risk
Ensure compliance with local law & company policy throughout the employee lifecycle
Communicate and implement changes to HR policies and procedures.
Ensure disciplinary procedure is properly applied before any employee is exited from the business
Performance Management
Develop a performance focused culture where high performers are rewarded and inadequate performers are given an opportunity to enhance or terminated
Ensure compliance with annual appraisal review: that all staff are properly appraised and have proper objectives/KPI
Ensure all pay increases, bonus or incentive awards, and promotion proposals are justified and comply with policy
Supervise the salary and bonus review processes in line with company policies & procedures
Motivate employees and enhance performance by developing recognition initiatives
Financial Management
Provide line management with regular and accurate reporting of employee costs
Ensure annual manpower budgeting exercise is conducted accurately and efficiently
Ensure HR Team adherence to the business' financial systems & processes
Recruitment
Specify key local recruitment requirements, communicate and discuss the same with General Manager
Liaise with line managers to ensure all recruits are of an acceptable standard and are thoroughly reference checked
Ensure all new recruitments are in line with the GHQ clearance
Implementation and management of a nationalization program with the aim of attracting high caliber candidates
Administration
Ensure all required HR administrative processes are executed efficiently and with impeccable attention to detail
Ensure reporting hierarchy and organization unit structure is kept up to date
Act as HR system champion and participate in system design and testing when required
Handling customer enquiries by phone, email and fax.
Maintaining logs for complaints, MP representations.
Identifying potential complaints and escalating to the Case Work Manager.
Verify documentation by telephone calls to sponsors in United Kingdom, liaise with banks, educational providers and others in third countries and by examination of documents submitted in visa applications.
Check work references for Work Permits UK and process referrals and requests for information from Home Office, Ports and other missions world-wide.
Processing appeals file for Entry Clearance Officers to assess.
Dispatching appeals in tamper proof envelopes to Immigration and Asylum First-tier Tribunal.
Coordinating Tehran operations by liaising with British embassy in Tehran.
Maintaining error logs and forwarding error logs for rectification.
Updating daily status log for tracking working queue.
General HR Activities.
General HR admin duties arranging Employment visa, business visa, house maid visa.
Leave management- Leave handling of more than 13, 000 staff.
Monitoring the sick leave records for employees.
Updating Mobilization of staffs and dependants details on weekly basis.
Administering disciplinary procedures; managing evaluation of need for disciplinary action.
Management of HR documentation such as role specifications, employee agreements, employee manual.
Payroll
Liaise with accounts department for staff leave pay processing.
Preparation of full and final settlement.
Compiling the weekly time sheet received from employees and forwarding to accounts department on monthly basis after job code allocation.
Induction and Exit Management.
Receiving the employee on their arrival at the company and giving the primary induction and company profile
Processing of separation procedures, exit interviews.
