Monitor & control ward requisition for both top-up store & non stock for both medical & non-medical supplies & equipment’s within unit allocated budget. Monitor /update medical & electrical equipment maintenance sticker check & report if due for calibration. Unpacked top-up supplies & put in each specific bin for proper storage. Ensure office supplies are adequately maintained. Liaise UM/CNC/CRN and nursing staff with regards to suitability of equipment’s & supplies. Checked stock level & ensure supplies are available for clinical use & monitor monthly expiry. Request store move order as needed. Report shortage of supplies & damage of equipment to UM/CNC & initiate work order for work order for maintenance repair. Participate in yearly physical inventory for both medical & non-medical equipment & furniture’s. Prepare list of equipment needed in the unit for yearly insurgency capital request as directed by Unit manager. Assist in delivering a high standard of care to patients, promoting their equality and dignity at all time.
Participate as part of Budget team to increase my knowledge & to be
more aware in controlling expenses in the unit for the allocated budget.

Renders professional nursing care to patients within the scope as nurse
Assistant assigned in the unit in support of medical care as directed by SN &
other medical allied staff and pursuant to objectives and policies of the hospital. Received patient upon admission and prepare them for bed. Initiate taking vital signs as directed by SN/CN which includes Blood Pressure, Temperature, Height & Weight, & CBG. Report immediately untoward signs & symptoms to SN/CN. Assist SN in performing procedures like dressing, mobilizing from bed to chair also giving bed bath & patient need assistant for toilet bath. Obtain specimen as assigned and send to laboratory for investigation. Give oral feeding for patients unable to feed by themselves independently. Make sure all equipments are available for patients when needed. Assist in delivering a high standard of care to patients, promoting their equality and dignity at all time.

Prepare clinic for the day. Ensure that all equipments are in good condition and supplies are adequate for days use. Record patients
data as per hospital confidentiality. Make sure patients are well explained by attending physician to avoid fear, tension and anxiety. Assist doctors during examination and performing minor procedure; anticipate doctors need by proving necessary equipment/apparatus needed. Performed wound dressing, removal of sutures as directed by physician. Make sure all prescription, appointment are given & well explained. Respect their privacy and promote the delivery of dignified care, culturally appropriate care.
