• To assist, coordinate and perform all ship loading operations & documentation.
• To assist logistics management in planning and scheduling of cargo vessels to ensure effective Utilization of berth and storage facility in coordination with Operation, Maintenance and Customers.
• To communicate, coordinate with marketing and customers to make ship loading documents as per given instruction & dispatch reports to concerned.
• Responsible for the safe berthing, mooring and sailing operations of cargo vessels.
• To coordinate & communicate with ship surveyor, ship agents, laboratory and productions for smooth operations.
• To prepare the shipping documents Bill of lading, cargo of origin certificate, Q & Quantity certificate.
• Generation and compilation of daily, monthly & yearly reports relating to stock product and export product to the customers and submission to management .
• To monitor and record individual ship standard operation hours and cargo operation hours.
• To take corrective measures to meet efficient operations & to reduce vessels turnaround time as per SOH (standard operation hours) & cargo operation hours.
• To ensure pre ship arrival checklists completion as per berth occupancy schedule (BOS).
• Responsible to manage all documentation and exchange of documents during ship loading and final shipping documents to customers, marketing, customs and port authorities .
• To perform varieties of duties in revolving shift and round the clock to maintain an efficient operation.
Carries out routine checks of plant operating conditions in accordance with set schedules. Includes taking samples, recording readings, checking running condition of equipment, etc.
Monitors plant operations on site. Includes adjusting local set points and gauges to accommodate fluctuations in operations, reports major abnormalities to Supervisor as required.
Opens and shuts various valves manually. Starts and stops pumps and rotating equipment in accordance with set procedures and Supervisor’s instructions.
Carries out minor maintenance and housekeeping duties as required. Includes greasing, cleaning and replacing minor parts on plant and equipment.
Calculates various well tests to determine well parameter such as cargo computation.

Responsible for the support of Company Safety, environment and Quality policies and programs, and carrying out specific duties and responsibilities related to his job as spelled out in Management system documentation, policies, procedures, local documentation, Management System Manual, Safety Manual and other related documents. ➢ Responsible to ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude. ➢ Carries out the jetty/berth operation, Marine loading arms (MLA) connection & disconnection, cargo figure calculation during ship loading or unloading. ➢ Carry out duties as Auxiliary fireman or Site Safety Officer as and when required during emergencies, as per the Facility Response Plan.
