I was primarily recruited to establish the brand LA and expand the operations into the construction and engineering sector within Qatar. This was predominantly done due to the growth potential the company saw in the Qatar construction market.
Key responsibilities
Business Development - Have been instrumental in establishing LA’s name and expand the company’s service offerings into the construction sector in Qatar.
Team Management - Managing a team of two Consultants within the construction team and partially overseeing the operations of the Doha office.
Account Management - Actively involved in recruiting for projects like Lusail, Doha Expressway and Qatar Rail and for various clients mentioned below.
Recruitment - Manage the full cycle recruitment process for all mid to senior level positions; ranging from Site Engineer to Program Director.
As a Business Manager my primary objective is to build a team, develop business within the construction & property sector, build a sustainable business pipeline and fulfill the revenue objectives of the business.
Generating new accounts while overseeing existing accounts in Fortune 500 companies in APAC and Middle East region. Constantly dealing with clients at the CXOs level across various industry sectors. Manage the regional sales team while ensuring that sales are consistently achieved.
Assist in the business development and marketing initiatives.
Led the Unified Store database (USDB) team - This was an IRI global team responsible for maintaining the Store database with the records of all the stores that IRI collects data from in the whole of USA. The team was also responsible for determining if stores were eligible for sampling and if their data could be used for projections based on their demographic characteristics. The team was responsible for designing and implementing projects such as New Chain startups and database clean up projects.
