Personal and Business Banking (PBB) SA has embarked on a very the large transformation journey called the Core Banking Transformation Programme (CBT). Part of this journey includes the retiring legacy of systems and adopting SAP as the Core Banking system and to create the bank of the future founded on Customer Centricity principles.
Business Release 5 (BR5) is the fifth release of the Core Banking Transformation (CBT) journey and is predominantly delivering the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) capability to the bank which will enable Transform programmes such as Sales & Acquisition and Channel Convenience to reach their targets. The CRM scope items in combination with the Transform initiatives will allow the bank to increase its revenue through increased customer acquisition, cross sell and retention and reduced account dormancy, whilst at the same time contribute to cost containment and reduction through improving origination and servicing process efficiencies.
BR5 is focused on building and delivering a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) capability to support the transition to Customer Centricity and other foundational elements which are prerequisites for future releases and decommissioning of legacy systems. BR5 is an extension to the foundations laid in BR4, primarily into the Self Service Channels. High level scope items include Customer Needs Analysis (CNA), Cross-sell, Queries and Complaints, Campaigns, Leads and Contact Management, Activity Management and Single View of the Customer (SVOC), Investment Banking.

Responsibility
•Analysis of FRS (Functional Requirement Specification) document provided by the customer in conjunction with data migration from Customer Relationship Management CRM 5 to CRM 7.
•Based on analysis of FRS, conceptualizing the scope of testing, area of the application to be tested and finalizing the test procedures, test modules and test cases.
•As a part of BR5 (Business release 5) there is data migration of existing SAP CRM Business Partner (BP) from SAP CRM 5 to SAP CRM 7. Testing will require different types of data. Example- different types of account (Access Account, Access Loan Account...etc.), customers with different credit score, customer with different risk scores....etc. That is, different scenarios.
