Job Description:
In Charge of 9 Civil / Architectural Office Engineers, responsible for the Engineering, Coordination, Quotation Solicitation and Procurement of Civil and Architectural Engineering Systems for Buildings across the compound: high-end office building (Main Building), standard office building, High-end residential buildings, standard residential buildings, temporary residential apartments, support annex building, utility building, gym and recreation area and a storage building. In addition to compound civil items: manholes accessories, underground shelters, helipad, irrigation, landscaping, plantation, soil mix, compound pavers, miscellaneous site steel finishes.
My role as a Team Leader consisted of planning, monitoring and controlling the process of engineering, addressing technical inquiries to the design team (client and consultant), resolving constructability issues between design team and manufacturers, confirming feasibility, releasing tenders and issuance of POs. In addition to that, the coordination with Scheduling Team for the forecast of materials, coordination between field engineers reporting the materials consumption and the office team to maintain a convenient stock of materials between consecutive overseas orders.
Leading a Team of Inspectors on site and Coordinate with Design Office in Beirut to achieve:
Monitoring the progress, Leading the weekly meetings, supervising the inspection, review of the Value Engineering Proposals by the Contractors, Resolving Technical Inquiries, Review and Approvals of Technical Documents (RFI, TQ, Submittals) and of Contractual Documents (Schedule Update, Invoice, Claims)
