Position entailed, handling of all visiting international media, newspapers, magazines, and T.V. crews, visiting Bahrain for the first time - to promote Gulf Air, Bahrain and
Bahrain International Circuit. Introducing Arabic hospitality to international visitors, during their stay in the Kingdom of Bahrain, which played a big role in the coverage received.
Event organization for Gulf Air, inclusive of new product launches, new routes, press conferences, and any internal activities required by CEO. Department reports directly to
CEO of Gulf Air.
Established the company and ran the entire operation of the agency. Agency was targeted at recruiting Arab nationals only, as there was a niche in the market for that target.
Added activities included: Market Research and Promotions/Product Launches with the support of registered candidates on file, whose portfolios matched the project in hand.
Promotional activities included:
American Express, L’Oreal, BMMI, Al Mawarid Group, Abu Dhabi National Hotels.
Market Research:
The Disney Channel ( Hong Kong ), Americana, Pepsi Cola.
Re-established the Kuwait branch of Madco - Head office Dubai.
Assignment entailed liasoning with the government sectors to arrange legalities in order to restore operations. Re-generated previous business as well as collected overdue payments. Generated new clients for the Madco Group so that advertising activities would filter through the rest of the company’s network branches throughout the Gulf and Middle East.
Heading the PR department and in charge of all visiting delegations of the Jordanian Government. Arranging VIP tours, receptions and seminars. Worked closely with the Ministry of Tourism in order to promote Jordan as a tourist attraction/destination.
Worked closely with Queen Noor of Jordan, focusing on sites such as : Jerash ( Jerash Festival ), Wadi Rum, Petra, Aqaba, “Bani Hameedah Tribe” - carpets ( for export ) as well as working with international tour operators to promote Jordan via Royal Jordanian, as a tourist destination.
