- Design Management - Retail - Client side - all projects of the group and its affiliated companies / brands in UAE and Internationally: La Mer Beach Club, Train Gym, Sneaker District, The Box, The Mix, Origin 33, Skechers, Umbro, Paladium, Supra, Anta, Ria Maria, Cyber Dog and others.

- Managing the development of concept proposals, tender documentation and supervising the activities of the design team to ensure proper interpretation of brief and requirements.
- External coordination with Landlords, Authorities, Consultants and Contractors.
- Review and analyze of contractor's proposals & submittals. Appointment of consultants and contractors for various activities & evaluating their performance.
- Value Engineering and monitoring of the projects with respect to budget, program, delivery and timely completion.
- Inspection and coordination of all construction activities, providing technical inputs and directions for execution. Ensure all works are completed in accordance with the required quantity and as per the highest standards.
- Leading, training and motivating the design and engineering team.
- Technical support and coordination with Operations, Finance, Procurement, Marketing, IT.

- Managing the design and development of new projects, existing Meraas assets, as well as variety of activations around multiple locations.
- High level presentations and communication of concept designs and ideas effectively to the top management, clients and investors.
- Assessment of tender documentation, Evaluation and shortlist, Initial Budget Coordination and value engineering proposals;
- Leading external consultants and contractors by review, comment and approval of their concept proposals and submissions, to assure met requirements, functionality and efficiency - on time as per design program;
- Manage Architects, Engineers, Draftsmen, 3D designers, and Supplier’s outputs aesthetically and technically and make the necessary recommendations, suggestions and proposals.
- Budget evaluation and coordination during all stages. Modification, changes and additional works cost estimations. Procurement and delivery cost negotiations.
- Responsible for leading the design team in delivery of concept, schematic and detail drawings; Preparing design concepts, site analysis and supervising the activities of the team to ensure proper interpretation of project briefs and requirements. Ensuring compliance with budget, authorities and regulations, policies, procedures. Controls of project design activities at all levels.
- Internal coordination with all departments: Engineering(Structural/MEP/Landscape), Interior, Construction; L&E; Marketing, Specialty Leasing, Facility management, Retail design and delivery(RDD), Procurement, Finance and HR;
- Leading the design team in planning and development of projects (Architecture and Interior) in all stages. Providing oversight and management of the design in order to achieve project completion on time, within budget and to the agreed standards in quality, sustainability, safety and security. Responsible for managing a team of 17 people (3 Project Architect; 2 Assistant Design Architects, 7 Draftsmen, 2 3D Designers, Landscape Architect and a Landscape Draftsman).
- Review and approval of: Concept Proposals, Architectural, Structural, MEP, Site plans, Interior, Landscape and Hardscape drawings, RFP, RFQ, IR, Shop-drawings, IFC drawings, AFA, RFI, Inspection requests, SIR, Materials submittals and sample selection; TVR and LVR, LOD; Specifications, Traffic layout, Traffic layout, FF&E, Signage design; etc.
- Writing and/or review of briefs, scope of work, services; programs, schedules, guidelines, feasibility studies
- Evaluation of team members performance and improvement recommendation, Resource allocation and individual assignments in coordination with design program for all daily activities, Interviews and assessment with potential future team members.
- Site inspections and supervision, immediate solutions of issues throughout design and build process and approval of construction amendments due to as built conditions. Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control(QC), Snagging and Handing over;
- Support to Project managers, Construction managers, Site engineers and supplier at site
- Weekly meetings, project reports on deliverables and site progress;
- Factory inspections, testing, reviews, appraisals and approvals.

- Design Management and Delivery on various High-end Residential, Commercial, Hospitality, Retail, Entertainment and Interior Design projects.
- Represent the company in front of new clients, consultants and contractors and maintaining a close and positive relationship during all stages of design, built and supervision.
- Preparing design concepts and supervising the activities of the design team to ensure proper interpretation of client’s briefs and requirements.
- Review and approval of all technical submissions, drawings and supporting information.
- Attend technical and progress meetings with contractors/clients or their representatives.
- Inspiring creativity among the team throughout the design process ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard and within the design parameters and deadlines.
- Assist/advise the PMP team with construction information, budget, material submittals, samples, etc.
