Founded and leading consulting services organization, Plausible Consulting to offer the quality service at reasonable price to various enterprises. Explored new business opportunities and acquired project in wide ranging areas from ERP, Business Intelligence to E-Commerce. Also, explored technologies in the above space and acquiring, executing projects.

At present am also associated with a B2B E-commerce Marketplace and assisting them in the building the complete solution. My responsibilities includes interacting with prospective business users understanding their pain point and addressing them thru the proposed solution, understanding management business drivers and coming up with management dashboards which will provide business insight and enable timely decision making to address critical business issues. Am also overseeing the development, deployment of the solution.

I was also associated with Hikal Limited, and had assisted them in pre-upgrade study for Oracle Applications providing Hikal with a detailed upgrade plan. Interactions with different business units, understanding pain points and coming with the functional enhancements was also part of my responsibility. During the project execution stage, was involved as an independent reviewer.

As a Practice Director responsible for the applications practice, established and doubled the SaaS practice in less than 3 years. Consistently achieved budget numbers to meet the set practice KPIs of Revenue, Utilization and most importantly achieved the expected practice margin. In addition to growing the ERP practice, where I lead the team as project sponsor for some of the marquee projects also stabilized the CRM practice to win on of the large deal in APAC for a Telco. Additionally, established EPM/BI practice and started delivery in those areas. Worked extensively with both Oracle and partner resources.

The SaaS practice was set up under my leadership, where we started from scratch. Every aspect of setting up of a practice was covered including Business plan preparation, Resource requirements finalization and identification, training and development, customer acquisition. Today the practice has grown to a sizable number covering HCM, Sales, Service and Social cloud solutions. Provided solution to integrate with on-Premise point solutions.

Manpower and Practice management are important aspects of my responsibility. I am also responsible for strategic and tactical initiatives, in terms of identifying new areas for practice growth, talent acquisition, career and succession planning. I took it upon myself to ensure that escalations are handled and regularly monitor the project progress, with respect to planning and risk mitigation to ensure the smooth, successful and timely delivery including but not limited to solution reviews.

As a Practice Manager, I was responsible for delivering the projects being executed by Oracle Consulting in the capacity of Project Director. Some of the project delivered where for Toyota Kirloskar Motor, Bajaj Electricals Ltd., Kellogg’s India Ltd., Honda Motors, etc.

During this stint the emphasis was more on ERP practice and worked with the project teams to deliver the projects to customers delight. Overall Program and Project Management were part of my main responsibility. Business Development, Solution architecting, validation of the solution proposed from the business perspective were also integral part of the responsibility undertaken.

As a Sr. Principal Consultant, I have led and managed large and complex projects with focus on Project delivery in agreed timelines, maintain the quality and within budget. Customer Relationship, Project Management and overall solution architecting / ownership are some of the areas of my deep involvement. As a Project Manager, I have lead and motivated the teams to achieve project objectives. Also, while leading from the front worked with and managed cross functional project teams from different organizations including contract employees. Some of the project successfully completed as a project manager included Hindalco Industries Limited - Renukoot, Shalina Laboratories Ltd., Hikal Limited, etc.

Challenged the India Localization methodology deployed where a form was being modified and this process would repeat for every patch. For Oracle Applications E-Business Suite Release 11i devised an alternate approach as a bolt-on yet associated to specific application user session. This design was very well appreciated and accepted by Oracle development team and the product was accepted and is now being supported by India development team.

Post successful delivery and handover of India localization project, took responsibility of module / project lead to deliver various projects.
