Operations & Maintenance
Designing network layouts and managing the installation, commissioning, configuration & maintenance of a wide range of telecom equipments.
Ensuring maintenance of complete network, inclusive of performance monitoring, day to day network operations, preventive & corrective maintenance.
Planning and effecting maintenance schedules of various telecom and networking equipments to enhance the equipment reliability and increasing machine up time.

Finding feasibility route between towns to town and surveying the route and capturing the data from the field like soil strata, Row Authority, Culverts, Bridges, Railway Crossings (Details of Railway Authorities) and Landmarks, etc.
Mapping all the surveyed data by using AutoCAD and preparing Row Plans from surveyed data and applying for Row permissions to concerned authorities while preparing Row Plans OFC route will be finalized.
Generating the BOQ’s (Bill of Quantities) will be generated. It includes the total trenching how much material required how many chambers are required. These BOQ’S are sent to commercial dept. for approval.
Preparing Fiber plans between Link to Link. It includes the location of Pull through Chambers and Splice Chambers, details of Fiber termination at FMS. (Fiber Management System).
Finding the LDCC (Long Distance Charging Center), Regenerator sites in the towns with coordination of Estate Dept. After taking the site dimensions, in building plans and equipment rooms are designed.
In building Plans shows the entry of OFC into Building.
Equipment & DG room plans shows how & where to place all equipments in order considering the future requirements.
Executing the works, contractors will prepare Asbuilts. My responsibility is to check all Asbuilts with respect to Measurement Sheets, which are generated by Site Engineer at the time of execution. Then based on these Asbuilt drawings ABOQ’S will be generated for Contract Closure.
This project involves in Field Survey, ROW preparation and finally Planning & Designing of Network for an optimum Telecom Service. In the field we capture the Utilities and all sorts of Property Information to be considered for laying network. This hardcopy information is converted into digital form to scale using AutoCAD with a GIS Base map from MapInfo. These drawings are used for the preparation of ROW plans, Copper plans, Conduit for Main Feeder and Distribution. GIS is used for finding out the most feasible path for the feeder, buffering the ODP boundary, Storing of the final drawing (As-Built) in Small World.
