• Managing day to day HSE task and provision of resources.
• Weekly inspection and walk through with QP and kahramaa(inspectors)
• Monitoring and inspection of asphalt and CBM paving activities.
• Reporting HSE observations and findings monitor until close out.
• Conduct Toolbox talks and internal training.
• Assist in resolving day to day work implementation issues, coordination with site construction team and advise them abatement of hazards.
• Site inspection and records verification (skills training and Certifications, PTW, Spots checks, Machinery certifications, inspection of excavation works like Cable laying, MV/LV, QAF, Fire fighting, Kahramaa and Ooredoo lines,
• Conducting Emergency Mock drills with medical team (Vehicular accident, Unresponsiveness Heat stress etc).
• Investigating Incidents, Near miss and Accidents prepare and full report to HSE manager.
• Weekly inspections of asphalt plant, mixing plant, and PMB plant.
• Monitoring and inspections of critical activities like Confined space, working under OHL Line, QP Corridor and Excavation works near live cables.
• Maintain up to date safety records of the project and issuing monthly and weekly at the project.
• Inspect the site to ensure it is a hazard-free environment.
• Provide toolbox talk to workers.
• Making monthly inspections like full body harness, plant equipment, power tools, fire extinguisher.
• Inspect Scaffolds, Maintain Good Housekeeping, Inspect Emergency Assembly Areas.
• Raising near miss, incident reports against the safety violations which are occurring at the site and following them up to they are solved.
• Check all the work permit, Risk assessments And JSA, make sure all the excavations should be barricaded and provide proper Access and Signage’s.
• Conducting Emergency Mock drills. Planning and setting up of on-site Emergency Response Team.
• Identified safety hazards which affect health and welfare of site employees and their execution of work.
• Ensuring Personal protective equipment’s compliance.
• Checking to make sure that staff do not arrive to work under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• Making sure that workstations and seating are suitable for the individuals using them.
• Undertaking any other additional duties that maybe required or are commensurate with the position.
• Regularly checking alarm systems to ensure they are working properly.
• Investigating near misses.
• Ensuring the legal compliance of all buildings and equipment .
• Educating new employees on the company’s emergency evacuation procedures in the event of a fire.
• Monthly inspections like power tools, Non powers tools, Plant equipment, PFAS, etc.
