As the Corporate Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Director at CRCC, I have undertaken a pivotal role in driving HSE excellence across the organization. Leading a huge dynamic team of HSE professionals, I am responsible for formulating and implementing comprehensive HSE strategies, policies, and programs that align with CRCC's commitment to safety and sustainability. In this capacity, I oversee risk assessments, safety training, incident management, regulatory compliance, and the development of a safety-conscious culture throughout our operations. Notably, I have played a key role in achieving a significant reduction in workplace incidents and a substantial improvement in our overall environmental footprint. My contributions as a strategic leader in HSE have solidified CRCC's reputation as an industry leader in safety and sustainability practices.
As an accomplished HSE Professional with more than 20 years of experience in Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental Management Systems, I am skilled at implementing effective HSE Management System, Gap Assessments, and developing systems alongside holding an extensive track record of HSE Achievements, often exceeding business leaders’ expectations. I have a passion for personal safety & environmental protection, and I am skilled at driving cultural change while enhancing the methodology of workflow in a friendly environment; resulting in effective HSE culture improvements.
As Project Manager for SAMA (Saudi Arabian Monitoring Authority) Headquarters and its Eleven branches through FKEC (Engineering Consultancy) in Saudi Arabia for Health, Safety, Environment, and Firefighting management plus supervision. I am responsible to provide necessary guidelines to client & contractors for the implementation of HSEMS (ISO 45001 SMS & ISO 14001 EMS).
Presently I am working as Area (Corporate) HSE Manager at C.A.T Group in Saudi Arabia, Oil and Gas construction projects with Saudi Aramco & Air products leading a team of 500 HSE professionals on 14 Saudi Aramco projects including Maintain Potential (Southern and Northern), South Ghawar, Shaybah, Abqaiq, PRP, Safaniyah, RT, Qatif and Shyabah. Air Products Jubail IG Network Pipeline with Royal Commission of Jubail. Projects with Saudi Aramco includes construction of pipelines, manifolds, well heads, tie-ins, remote headers, gas gathering manifolds, water injection plants, metering stations, pipeline rehabilitation etc.
I was working at Central Utilities Complex project as Projects HSE Manager; assuring compliance with client, Government HSE legislation and company’s HSE Plan, HSE Audits, Incident/Accident investigation, training systems.
I completed the assigned job as Main Contractor as Site HSE Manager in Riyadh Power Plant-10 (3236 MW), at Arabian BEMCO Contracting Company (Saudi Arabia). Power Plant Construction Project was consisting of complete Civil Work, 40 Gas Turbines, Tank Farm, Water Treatment Area, and Control Buildings. I was also responsible for the Occupational Health Safety & Environmental Management System OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001, project Emergency Response Team Lead and HSE Training of engineers and workers.
As Team Head of Safety Investigators at Safety Board-I of Air Headquarters, I was responsible for the Incident/Accidents investigations, and premature failures/crash investigation of American system aircraft. The responsibilities included formulation of the process for investigation of component/engine failures of PAF aircraft and suggestions/remedial measures to avoid recurrence.
