Handling the Transmission & Operation and Maintenance scope in the West region of KSA for CIENA systems deployed in Mobily as Regional Team lead.
Accountable for the task delivery, customer facing & analyse risks
Manage all aspects of project scope, time, quality, risk, integration & change management.
Ensure customer acceptance, operational handover & acceptance.
Maintain professional relationship with the customer, suppliers & team members.
Promote the use of consistent standards and procedures.
Ensuring team has the necessary skills to guarantee delivery.
Establishing a reporting structure & escalation matrix.
Responsible for all O&M activity.
Supervising Teams in Western region for O&M project.
Providing 24*7 Support to teams, Trouble shooting, Expansion plans.
Conduct PMR’s at regular intervals.
Execution of Preventive Maintenance Routines (PMR), Maintenance Down Times (MDT), Backup Savings and Routine Maintenance tasks.
Fault diagnosis and rectification of transmission media within set SLA's
Analyse the network performance and investigate the reasons behind degradation of KPIs.
Extraction of daily data for performance monitoring, analysis and reporting.
CWO (Circuit Work Order) / SOR (Service Order Request) implementation & interpretation.
Prompt Support to field Staff using Network Management Systems.
Originating, referring, updating and clearing/closing of Trouble Tickets.
Conducting surveys for possible site for the expansion program of the network.
Ciena Equipment expansion (CN 5430 (SONET/SDH), OME 6500 DWDM & CESD 5150), local termination of fiber link to ODF
Testing the ports with test sets EXFO/JDSU, OTDR & Spectrum analyser.

*Ciena CN-5430 (SONET/SDH), OME6500 (DWDM), CN5410 / CN5150 & CN3930 (MPLS) rack shelf
installation, local termination for fiber link patching equipment to ODF. Power layout, Floor Plan.

*Worked on STC FTTH Service Delivery project as a lead splicer.
*Preparing new fibers before splicing to get a perfect low loss connection
*Repairing damaged fiber optical cables, using the equipments Fusion Machine, OTDR Optical Time Domain
