JOB ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:-
During the period around six years, as a time member my main job
responsibilities were, The similar as discussed by you in above lines that
as follows:- We were responsible to analyze Data Center for supporting
the day-to-day operations of the University’s Data Centers, Disaster
Recovery site and the Exchange building ensuring Continuity and proper
management. We interfaced with data center customers to analyze
requirements and implement the required Solutions as well as
monitoring critical data center components to maintain the data center
availability. Apart from that we were responsible for the following:-
Monitoring the performance highlighting any deficiencies through the
appropriate channels via network health checks. Verifying the issue and
categorization / prioritization of the incident and creating tickets of the
issues, follow up on open tickets. Documenting all issues and their
solution for future ease. Changing tapes and maintaining tape library for
back up in data center. As per the schedule Daly, weekly, monthly &
yearly Backups running on the all jobs on the Interface COBOL, & Linux,
Scripting to check logs and for running various services. Develop and
document technical processes. MAINFRAME. Like on various systems
CMOSPROD, CPACRESTOR, SAPPROD, & COBOL UNIX & LINEX SYSTEM
Troubleshooting and root cause analysis is part of the roles and

Generating reports and coming up with the analysis.
