Conducts permanent material receiving visual Inspection of all Incoming instrument equipment, materials, and review all the relevant documents if all delivered items are in accordance with the project requirements.
•Make verification for the RFI submitted by the contractor, work to be inspected is complete and in compliance with the Engineering Standard & Material shall conform to all applicable requirements standard.
•Verifying and reviewing the construction drawings covering ISS, P&ID, ILD, Location Drawing, Hook-Up Drawing, Typical Drawing and Wiring Details etc. Preparation and submitting of red line mark-ups/as-built drawings.
•Inspection and supervision for the installation of control panel. Knowledge of installation of Fire & Gas System such as IR/UV Flame detector, Flammable/Toxic gas detector, Manual call point, Fire Detection System, PAGA system in the field such as Push Button, Horn & Beacon and Grounding System etc.
•Issuing the systematically Non-conformity reports and Discrepancy reports, checking that the settlement of non-conformities is in accordance with the site requirements.
•Responsible for quality assurance / quality control with strict adherence Implementing project requirements, specification and reference standard. Complete surveillance of ongoing construction activities as required on approved quality plan.
•Perform various types of Inspection covering installation of cable tray, conduit, duct bank/trench, installation of instrument pneumatic air lines and impulse tubing, Instrument installation, Junction Box (JB’s), cable installation, termination, tagging, cable testing, Installation of Instrument Equipment such as Marshalling Panels & To ensure the quality criteria are kept and no violation has occurred.
•Hold pre inspections and inspections as required with all party concerned.
•Submit to client an application for inspection for witness and hold points in accordance with ITP.
•Duties involved inspection of various instruments on its arrival at site and provide reports to the client Inspectors. Also responsible for inspection of the construction activities such as installation, calibration and loop checking of associated instruments carried out by a team of technicians. Also coordinates with the vendor representatives on inspection of instruments at site.
•Inspection & review instrument loop package, documentation of loop tested and updated of instrument database (Microsoft access) and maintaining up to date documentation.
•Calibration of pneumatic and electronic transmitters (Yokogawa, Rosemount, Foxboro, Honeywell, ABB etc.) sensors, indicators, switches, gauges, smart positioners, ON/OFF valve, safety valve, tank gauging systems and other field and panel mounted instruments.
•Dynamic working skill in Microsoft Office which includes Microsoft Words, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Access and Photoshop etc
INSTRUMENT & TELECOM QC INSPECTOR At SADARA ISOCYANATES PROJECT & YASREF PROJECT.
My Duties & Responsibilities:
•Ensuring quality control site surveillance, attending the inspection and test according to the approved ITP & QCP, verifying the inspection reports & validating results and test as per approved procedure.
•Assuring the project work is in compliance with Project requirements, standards, procedures, specifications and Schedule Q of the project contract.
•Responsible for Quality Assurance/Quality Control with strict adherence implementing project requirements & reference standard.
•Verifying and reviewing the construction drawings covering ISS, P&ID, ILD, Hook-up drawing etc.
•Preparation and submitting of red line mark-ups/as-built drawings.
•Evaluation of construction drawings for possible changes that will be developed as additional scope of work.
•Inspection activities such as Cable laying, Termination, Meggering, Impulse tubing etc.
•Attend kick-off meetings as per agenda (for any new activity) and to understand & monitor the client’s action plan and schedule
•Responsible to prepare, maintain Method of statement & ITPs.
•Responsible for Review, Implementation, Plans inspection strategies & Methodologies to comply with the given schedules.
•Maintain records of Calibration, inspection and testing equipment.
•Conduct daily routine surveillance and coordinate to construction team regarding any deficiencies on project requirements & standards.
•Performed inspection of Loop folder (Loop Package) verify and check all relevant documents such as red line P&ID, ILD, Instrument location plan, inspection test reports like calibration, Leak testing, Cable testing prior to start Pre-commissioning or Loop checking & record the entire punches.
•Assure that work is in compliance with Project requirements, standards, procedures, specification and schedule Q of the project contract and Preparation of punch list, follow up of rework and involvement of modification activities
Inspection of Cable Tray installations. Conducting Continuity & Insulation Resistance test for LV & MV cables. Inspection of ground rod, pad & grid system installations. Inspection of cable dressing, glanding & termination activities. Inspection of EMT & RGS conduit installation. Inspection of outdoor & indoor lighting installations. Inspection of JB installation, Secondary Cable Installation, Local Control Panels, Power distribution Panels. Surveillance over the ongoing construction activities & coordinating with construction supervisors to maintain all construction activities according to quality requirement of approved procedures. Inspecting the site Instrumentation works like secondary cable installations, instrument installations. Ensure that all works is done in conformance to project standards, project specifications, procedures & drawings
Conforming that calibration of the instruments match with the specifications in the instrument data sheets.
•Assure inspection preventative maintenance and repairs are performed in accordance within specification.
•Inspection of the process tubing and check that the tubing is done as per the hook up diagram and confirms as per the specification.
•Plan inspection and preventative maintenance periodic basis to coincide with operational requirements.
•Assign maintenance and repair works to the proper maintenance personal.
•Witnessing calibration and maintenance of field instruments.
•Inspect various types of thermo couple (K & J type) & RTD for temperature measurements.
•Witnessing Calibration of flow meters, pressure gauges, pressure transmitters, level transmitters, flow transmitters, control valves etc., using druck & HART.
•Provide technical support for operation and maintenance on control valves for operation and maintenance, diagnostics, calibration, reliability and O & M procedural issue.
•Inspection and calibration of field instruments like transmitters, switches, I to P converters, positioners, control valves and F & G detectors.
•Develop operation and maintenance procedures and documentation records for related plant equipment.
•Responsible for timely completion of the assigned jobs and maintain project schedule.
•Preparation of joint measurement sheet after the inspection of work.
Responsible for preparation and scheduling of daily inspection assigned to inspectors.
•Analyze the problem with operational engineers and provide suitable solution & Overview of process undergoing in the plant.
