Position: Project Engineer - Mechanical.
Project: Sidra Medical & Research Center, Doha.
Responsibilities: Managing Execution of following HVAC, PHS system in co-ordination with Design,
procurement, QA-QC, Commercial, Planning, Main contractor, other sub-contractors and
Consultant.
• Car park ventilation system for CO level monitoring and Smoke Extract in
Underground and Multi story car park buildings.
• Generator Room Ventilation system.
• Chilled water distribution system through Secondary and Tertiary Chilled Water
circuits, Low Temperature Hot Water distribution system with components as AHU,
FCU, Heat Exchangers, Vaccum Degasser, Pressurization Unit, Chilled Water
circulation pumps, , Run Around Coil circulation pumps.
• Low Temperature Hot Water Circulation system.
• Supply, Return & Exhaust Air duct system complete with Variable Air Volume boxes, and all accessories.
• Specialized Research labs exhaust system - Stainless Steel ducting for Fume Hood
And Biosafety cabinets, chemical/Radio isotope fume exhaust complete with Plume
fans, Fast acting Venturi, Automatic Pressure Monitor, SASH sensor, Fume Hood
Monitor.
• Installation of Supply and return air terminal devices like Stainless Steel Laminar flow
diffusers & Low level Horizontal blade exhaust grills for Special Research
applications such as Reproduction procedure rooms, Research Labs, Cryopreservation
rooms.
• Helium Exhaust system for MRI room.
• Staircase pressurization system.
• Emergency smoke extracts system.
• Kitchen Exhaust system.
• Generation and Distribution of Hot Water & Cold Water & Chilled Cold Water
complete with Thermostatic Control valve, Thermostatic Mixing Valve, Trap primers and all other accessories. Cold water booster pump sets, Hot water recirculation pump
sets, Calorie fires, Boilers.
• Installation of Safety stations for Labs with Emergency Eye Wash and Emergency
Showers.
B.E.
