Working with the engineering team to conduct site investigation and assess the technical feasibility of developing a specific energy project.
Drafting scope of work and estimate the respective project budget.

Served as the technical resource to the sales support team for Solar Photovoltaic, Energy Saving & Smart cities projects.
Work with prospective customers to identify the best commercial and technical fit of solar and/or battery systems.
Conduct due diligence including site evaluations, resource assessment, permitting, interconnection in coordination with the Engineering team and developed comprehensive & cost-effective technical proposals.
Lead and coordinate with engineering team on preliminary design activities pertaining to solar and/or storage projects, including project design & engineering, quality control, and code compliance for Commercial & Industrial and other market segments.
Inviting and negotiating quotations from suppliers/vendors as per
technical requirements/BOQ and prepare project cost estimation.
Provide counsel on areas where the client could improve their operations and possible energy savings to the client.
Prepared energy use and savings calculations (ROI, IRR, NPV, etc...) for identified improvements.
Support on project development activities by preparing project documents, studies and specifications, including feasibility studies and other development documents to help projects stay on track.
Liasing and attending all meetings with the clients, developing strategic alliances with module manufacturers, suppliers and sub- contractors, etc.
Work with the sales team to evaluate new market segments and
perform analysis of solar potential.
Research and understand regional energy markets and utilities, define and disseminate functional requirements with internal business and engineering colleagues
Work with the customer, sales, and engineering team to finalize and negotiate solar and/or energy storage contracts (project performance guarantees, etc)
Strong algebra, trigonometry & spatial visualization skills.
General construction understanding, i.e., ability to read, understand, and edit electrical and structural plans - reading/interpreting blueprints & field layouts.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Negotiating contracts with vendors, including prices and terms of payment
Monitoring project performance and ensuring that the project is completed according to the agreed upon schedule and within budget guidelines
Managing all aspects of the project, such as selecting contractors, obtaining permits, and ensuring compliance with regulations
Coordinating with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure compliance with building codes
Scheduling work crews, ordering materials, and tracking progress on a daily basis
Managing relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients throughout the life of the project
Working with clients to determine their needs, designing custom solutions, and estimating costs
Reviewing engineering plans and conducting inspections
Communicating regularly with clients on project status and providing updates on any changes to the timeline or plan
