• Project Coordination: Led construction planning, resource allocation, and staff scheduling for MEP installation. (Emergency, Fire Alarm, Dimmer System, Public Addressing, Lighting Control System, Structured cabling, PABX, Background music, Radio Paging System, FM 200, WAN/LAN, Vesda, GSM Antenna, BMS System, AV system, Parking management system, Sound Reinforcement system, Scoreboard & landscape works.
• Task Management: Planned and assigned daily/weekly tasks to site engineers to adhere to project schedules and milestones. Organized, man loading schedule as per project schedule to meet targeted milestones. Assisted, the scheduling department as needed with developing detailed schedules of MEP installation activities, including resource loading.
• Subcontractor Oversight: Monitored subcontractor performance and ensured timely delivery of critical materials and equipment.
• Reporting and Scheduling: Provided progress reports and addressed issues to the project controls team, assisting in schedule updates and ensuring timely project delivery.
• Installation and Maintenance: Executed MEP installation work in line with engineering specifications and local standards. Managed maintenance of MEP equipment for Doha Metro stations and tram, including CCP plant equipment like chillers and pumps.
• Quality Assurance: Coordinated site activities with QAQC and HSE departments to achieve project goals. Conducted regular inspections with the QHSE team to enhance safety practices.
• Asset and Budget Management: Reviewed asset registers, prepared budgets for spares and consumables, and tracked expenses. Managed procurement, material ordering, and budget adherence.
• Client and Contractor Liaison: Prepared defect reports, handled claims and variations, and managed communications with clients and contractors. Attended Failure Review Board meetings to address systematic failures and propose solutions.
• Documentation and Compliance: Prepared and reviewed monthly payment applications, O&M manuals, as-built drawings, and other closing documents. Ensured compliance with material submittals and method statements.
• System Monitoring and Maintenance: Implemented scheduled and preventive maintenance as per the Operation and Maintenance manual. Monitored systems through BACS to ensure operational efficiency.
• Low Voltage (LV) Systems Design Designed comprehensive LV systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications. Integrated LV systems with other building systems (e.g., HVAC, fire alarm) to ensure seamless operation and functionality. Developed technical specifications and design documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and installation instructions.Ensured all LV system designs adhered to relevant codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, IEC, local regulations) and incorporated best practices for safety and reliability. Collaborated with architects, engineers, and contractors to align LV system design with overall project requirements and constraints. Conducted design reviews and obtained necessary approvals from clients and regulatory authorities. Innovation and Improvement: Implemented innovative design solutions to address complex challenges and improve system performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Ensured adherence to health and safety standards, implementing all applicable safety codes and regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
