Working as “Process Engineer (Process Support Manager Development)” in Lotte Chemical Pakistan limited having the facility of PTA (Pure Terephthalic Acid) with production of 500, 000 Met per annum. Plant is engineered by Foster Wheeler and plant has its own power generation gas turbine.
• Working to ensure process reliability targets are being met and continuous improvement areas can be explored.
• Continuous Monitoring & Optimization of Plant Process and Operation parameters and procedures utilizing “Aspen IP21”.
• Daily & Monthly Plant Performance Report Issuance.
• Improving, optimizing & calculating the Plant Production & Performance Efficiencies, Production Loss Account & ABR.
• Developing technical plans by organizing brainstorming sessions with the organization.
• Responsible for preparing design work for Modifications for improvement in plant operation/process with good understanding of related FW & API codes & standards.
• Effective Utilization of “Aspen Exchanger Design & Rating” in link with “Aspen Plus”.
• Hydraulics Study, using Aspen Hysys Upstream option, calculating, designing and evaluating different piping/utilities network.
• Involvement in Energy Conservation activities & HAZOP Study of new systems and modifications.
• Sizing of Plant Control Valves using “ValSpeQ”.
• Process Data Sheets, PFD, P&I Diagram development for Projects and modifications.
• Working as the custodian of AspenTech software and responsible for networking with the technical services providers of AspenTech in Pakistan “PhiTech”.
• Responsible to conduct and deal with the financial auditors, ISO9001 and ISO 14001 auditor for technical department.
• Working effectively as a part of total productive management which is highly effective way for upkeep of plant.
• Develop fixed cost budget for the department and also develop the special maintenance and project budgets.
Responsibilities
Contribute for achieving the company production target and safety goals.
Calculate utilities and chemical consumption and optimized their usage.
Plant modification jobs including design studies, safety reviews, PHA, RCA and What if analysis.
Responsible to trouble shoot all the plant issue and networking with licenser’s to deal all the issues of plant.
Develop monthly production report for 100KTPA PVC-I and 50KTPA PVC-II plants.
Actively participated in Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) of whole PVC plant.
Responsible for handling variable cost and fixed cost analysis of the running PVC plants.
Responsible for controlling the operating parameters from DCS and provide guidelines to resolve issue.
Responsible for the safe startup & shut down of different equipment from field as well as from control room.
Develop work procedure before starting of any maintenance activity as per guidance of PSRM.
Hands on Experience of DCS (Honeywell Experion PKS)
Fauji Fertilizer Company, Mirpur Mathelo, District Ghotki, Pakistan. 1) Training at Utilities, Ammonia and Urea Section. 2) Detailed Process Study of Fertilizer Plant 3) Got the technical training's in TTC(Technical Training Center) Engro Polymer and Chemicals Ltd, Port Qasim, Karachi, Pakistan. 1) Training at PVC Back End and Front End Section. 2) Work on the project of De-bottle-necking of PVC plant
