Manage the entire process in the planning of commodities procurement and supply chain activities, inventory control, logistics and distribution, customs clearance, ensuring effectively-functioning processes to avoid costly delays and lost opportunities.
• Estimate and establish cost parameters and budgets for purchases.
• Create and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers.
• Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data
• Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options
• Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies
• Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts
• Ensure that the products and supplies are high quality
• Maintain and update list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development.
• Work with team members and Procurement Manager to complete duties as needed.
• Research and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers.
• Request quotes and compare prices for maximum ROI.
• Track incoming inventory, delivery arrival time, and note actual arrival time
. • Ensure all deliveries contain all goods requested
• Collaborate with financial team members on contracts, invoicing, and other financial matters
. • Follow up for Pr’s, Rfq, Pfi, Lc/Bc, Shipments Status, Nn Docs, Courier Details & get them clear with the help of clearing agents and deliver the goods at destination plant/ warehouse.
• Takes prompt corrective action in the case of accidents and delays to minimize bullwhip effect.
• Weekly meeting with Planner & AM for check & balance of materials.
• Run import tracking report once in a month in (SAP) for alignment of shipments

• Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.

• Resolve any arising problems or complaints.
• Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce.
• Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets.
• Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
