CONSTRUCTION PHASE
Deployment of 1 distribution switch (HP 8212zl) and 26 access switches (HP 3500 series) for data network system of PMT residential camp. Providing infrastructure for Data and IPTV traffic.
Securing the network with Stonegate firewall.
Deployment of IPTV equipment and infrastructure.
Successfully implemented wireless network for residential camp which includes Aruba wireless APs controlled by Aruba WLC.
Successfully deployed 1 x Juniper MX480 router and 23 x HP Procurve access switches for Data network of site offices.
Was an active part of Data network design, construction and commissioning phase for Shaybah NGL plant Facilities.
Technical review of schedules, execution plans, low level designs and technical queries submitted by telecom contractors.
Successfully conducted FAT for Juniper MX480 routers.
Installation and commissioning of permanent communication equipment includes 2 x Juniper MX480 routers, 4 x HP 5406 modular switches and 54 x HP 3500 access switches.
Supervised and worked on Deployment, installation and commissioning of telephone equipment and infrastructure for two locations comprising 2000 and 1500 lines respectively.
DESIGN PHASE
KBR AMCDE was the design contractor for detailed design of permanent communication system for Aramco Shaybah NGL facilities. During this interval my responsibilities were:
Responsible for the entire project related documentations (Scope of work, Transmittals, Drawings, and Technical Queries) under constant review and up to date.
Assisting design team for any technical issues regarding OSP/ISP telecom system design.
Responsible for detailed in depth technical review of 50 % and 90% detailed drawing submittals.
Responsible to make sure meeting timelines and milestones as per the project schedule.
Responsible for the complete hardware deployment for the Qtel MPLS Transformation (IP Core) Project using Huawei NE40-X8 & CX600-X8 Routers
Actively involved in the network migration phase of the Qtel MPLS Transformation (IP Core) Project from Qtel Cisco Network to Qtel Huawei Network
Actively involved in the deployment of Huawei NE40 Routers at Qtel ISP Centers for ISP Services migration from old network to the new network (Huawei)
To provide 1st and 2nd line support through IT Service Management framework to our internal clients in all IT related issues.
