As the Lead for the Investment Banking Department, my primary responsibility is to meticulously evaluate new business opportunities and conduct comprehensive business valuations mainly in F&B, Manufacturing and Real Estate Sector. Utilizing my expertise in investment analysis and financial modeling, I assess the viability of potential investments, considering factors such as market conditions, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
Furthermore, I oversee the transaction due diligence process for business takeovers, ensuring a thorough examination of financial statements, legal documents, and operational procedures. This meticulous approach helps identify potential risks, synergies, and opportunities for value creation.
Upon completing a successful acquisition, I collaborate with the management team to develop a strategic business plan for the upcoming years. This plan incorporates financial forecasts, growth strategies, and capital allocation frameworks. It serves as a blueprint for the management team to guide their decision-making and align their actions with the overarching goals of the organization.
Responsible for analysing and evaluation of Small and growing businesses to make informed decisions to invest in businesses and starups with high potential for economic returns and social impact. Providing trainings to portfolio businesses to sketch their Information Memorandum and Financial Model with an objective to make them investment ready.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyzing business applications for incubation by scrutinizing application forms and conducting in person interviews.
• Providing trainings to incubatees during the investment cycle to make their businesses investment ready by strategising and formalizing their Information Memorandum and Financial Model.
• Conducting market resarch to validate incubatees market size and its prospects in long term to analyse its social and financial impact.
• Conducting operational and financial Due Dilgence for shortlisted incubatees to evaluate the investment risk and to assess the business debt absorption capacity.
• Responsible for end to end execution of the mandates, involves business models, market research and financial planning.
• Advise institutions and individuals to raise equity or debt finance.
• Preparation of marketing pitchbooks and related materials.
• Develops financial strategies by guiding client to establish financial goals; matching goals to situation with appropriate financial plans.
• Provides financial management information by preparing financial status analyses and reports.
• Preparing business plans, financial models and conducting feasibility studies for new ventures.
Responsibilities
• Analyze financial data - and create financial models for decision support.
• Identifies financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
• Perform balance sheet, income statement and changes in financial position/budget variance analysis.
• Analyze past results, perform variance analysis; identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
• Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; studying proposed changes in methods and materials.
• Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
• Source Information from public sources, industry and paid research data bases.
• Making business models - to forcast financial statement and market trends.
• Give business valuation, recommendations on project financing, and other financial analysis as per project requirments.
• Conduct in depth data analysis using traditional and advance methods.
Key Responsibilities
• Executed Business Risk/Transaction Advisory Services Engagements.
• As an Associate in Business Risk Advisory services, I was involved in Internal Audits, Due Dilligence assignments & HR audit for various Government and Non-Government Organization such as (Word Bank, JICA, Higher Education Commission and Ministry of Federal and rural Education).
• In Transaction Advisory Department as part of a team member in various projects, I was involved in preparation of Feasibility Reports and Financial/Valuation Models for different clients.
• Data Analysis and Reporting to Clients.
• Proposal Writing for various assignments varing from Business Risk srvices to Transaction Advisory services.
• Describe an insightful use of financial analysis techniques, tools, and concepts, to provide practical counsel to business area partners and management to drive business results
• Meetings with clients as part of different assignments and attending business development meetings.
• Team with partners and mangers on proposals and business development calls.
Responsibilities
• Facilitate the Department Head in preparation of annual budgets based on management assumptions.
• Prepared Sanctions & Journal vouchers on day to day basis and updating accounting entries in software.
• Disbursement of payments and manage the availability of funds by coordination with Banks on daily basis.
• Process monthly quarterly half early and yearly accounts payable, general ledger, payroll and utilities, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, Bank reconciliations etc.
• Cash reconciliations, payment date accounting, monthly reporting and report production, daily modeling, analysis and reporting and financial Analysis.
• Monthly E-filing of Income and Sales tax (VAT).
• Providing the information/documents required by the auditors during the annual audit.
