As a Network Engineer my task is the smooth operation of Nadra network. The Nadra network operates at a massive scale while providing reliable verysis, Esahulat and many more services all over Pakistan. The scale and complexity of Nadra network generates a constant stream of interesting challenges which are solved by using an evolving set of technologies that require innovation in every aspect of networking.
Responsibilities:
• Provide support in the operation of Nadra growing global network infrastructure.
• Installation and configuration of CISCO switches and routers.
• Daily based Backup of all the critical devices like ISG-1000, SSG-140, switches and routers.
• Establishing GRE/IPSEC, Policy based VPN tunnels for external clients like banks, telecom companies etc.., on ISG-1000.
• Support Nadra internal application groups by troubleshooting service-impacting issues.
• Monitor system stability and performance, ensuring 24x7 operations.
• Act as an externally-facing point of contact to facilitate handling of problem reports, and maintain relations with network peers and vendors.
• Act as an internally-facing point of contact to escalate technical issues and communicate. Network status.
