DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES AS A QA/QC ENGINEER
Report to: Project QA/QC Manager.
➢ Implement the Project Quality Plan, Quality Control Procedures and ITP’s in Coordination with
Project QA/QC Manager.
➢ Expedite the review and approval of thesis documents with client.
➢ Monitor all works in progress and immediately notify the responsible Field Engineer, Supervisor or
Foreman of any activity that may not be in accordance with project specification.
➢ Carry out all inspections and tests as indicated on the appropriate Inspection &Test Plan \[ITP\].
➢ Record all inspection and tests on the appropriate form or checklist, as indicated on the relevant ITP
and sign off the same, and that all documentation is filed in a safe and secure manner.
➢ Raise Non Conformance Reports \[NCR’s\] and Discrepancy Report \[DR\], when activities deviate
from the contract specification or normal construction industry practices.
➢ Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any Non Conformance.
➢ Review corrective actions recommend on Non-Conformance reports, Initiate and verify corrective
actions to prevent re-occurrence of non-conformity
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES ON PROJECT
➢ Site Inspection for civil construction work and ensure that the work is as per the project
specification and issued for construction drawings/ final approved drawings from authorities.
➢ Proper management of materials and workmanship.
➢ Ensure that all the works meets the stipulated quality standards.
➢ Coordinates with subcontractors for smooth flow of work.
➢ Inspecting and Testing materials prior to their use at site as per sample approved by the consultant
and ensuring removal of rejected materials out from site.
➢ Monitoring daily progress of site.
➢ Preparing weekly and monthly progress report to be submitted to the Project Manager.

➢ Overseeing construction and maintenance of facilities.
➢ Conducted site survey with seniors and analyzing data to execute civil engineering projects.
➢ Developed Structural plans, details and Specifications.
➢ Hand and computer based analyses.
➢ Producing Structural Drawings as per the plan requirements in the presence of seniors.
➢ Studying and implementing different construction Methods
