Responsible to review and approve contractor’s health and safety management plans, Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) and all deliverables defined in the HSAS (Health and Safety Assurance Standards) of Neom.
Responsible to Ensure the effective achievement of functional objectives through leadership, setting Health & Safety department and individual objectives, managing performance and talent, developing and motivating staff, provision of formal and informal feedback.
Responsible to deliver a monitoring schedule including leadership tours, inspection, audits and support the periodic and random inspections/visits by the NEOM (Enterprises and /or LPFS).
Participate in the health and safety meetings with contractors’ management team.
Participate in health safety pre-start kick-off meetings with contractors as per the HSAS.
Responsible to validate the weekly HSE statistic report submitted by the contractor in Enablon.
Support and advice Project Management in the safe execution of NEOM Projects in the construction phase.
Responsible to participate in any Health & Safety audits/ assessments.
Plan and execute regular Health & Safety weekly walkdowns for the EPM contractors.
Provide the necessary support to NEOM project contractors in the preparation and evaluation of critical activities.
Monitor the critical activities in projects and provide the necessary consultation and support to execute them safely.
Responsible to ensure that all personnels including contractors and subcontractor receive a site-specific induction delivered by the competent person.
Manage and conduct a periodic H&S evaluation program for all NEOM projects as part of Health & Safety and highlight the findings and observations to project management and follow up with them to ensure observations are effectively closed.
Establish a Behavioral Based Safety (BBS) program in all projects and analyze all data received.
Implement weekly Health & Safety walkthroughs, reporting any safety observations in a timely manner.
Responsible to provide the necessary consultation and clarification to contractors related to construction health and safety.
Monitor Health & Safety performance of project contractors through the gathering and analysis of relevant data, providing inputs and statistical reports to EPM ESH management.
Ensure contractor has implemented a reward and recognition program to motivate their employees.
Investigate all Health & Safety concerns observed on a periodical basis and communicate concerns to the contractor management team. Escalate unresolved issues and concerns to EPM H&S Management.
Review contractor emergency program and ensure the preparedness of the project emergency response.
Review the Implementation of Health & Safety campaigns, safety awareness and promotional programs for Prevention of Accidents.
Responsible to ensure the contractors welfare arrangements at site including the accommodation facilities.
Responsible to ensure and covering adverse weather working arrangements, including arrangements summer working hours, storm, Fog, high winds, rain, lightning, and cold weather working.
I lead by example; I communicate regularly with our team and contractor team on health and safety.

Ensuring all construction projects are adequately resourced to provide all safety services necessary safe planning start up, construction, commissioning and turnover of base build and tool install projects in an effort to maintain world class safety performance.
Responsible to have and maintain knowledge of master design specification to ensure safety Requirements are included in project designs and processes. This is including ability to read and understand design packages to verify that safety requirement are met, and negotiate discrepancies to resolution.
Responsible to inspect all constructional activities which are under going on the project.
Responsible to ensure Permit to Work compliance on excavation, hot works, cold works, confined space, heavy lifting’s at construction site.
Conducting TBT as required on constructional activities on the project.
Responsible to check daily checklist, maintenance record and third party certificates of heavy plant equipments and power tools.
Generate incident and accident reports and investigate the cause of incident and accident.
Maintaining computerized record of HSE system inspection and maintenance.
Generate weekly, monthly and annually inspections and monitoring reports and present in management review meeting.
Fire prevention, fire fighting and inspection for fire and safety equipments.
Responsible to ensure the all welfare facilities at construction site.
Responsible to conduct emergency drills.
Responsible to ensure first aid facilities at site, and to perform the first aid to the victim.
Responsible to implement KPI system at site to motivate and encourage safety culture.
