CORE BANKING SYSTEMS (EQUATION AND TRANSACT)

Responsible for Core banking systems development and support applications.
1. Involve in all SDLC phases, from requirement gathering to deployment.
2. Provide technical support and consultancy to IT Ops and Business analyst team for ongoing support to 1700+ branches in 20 countries related to all core banking applications.
3. Deliver high-level support for troubleshooting and critical problems, identify root cause, and implement solutions to get them back on track, involves resetting configurations, applying updates, and providing workarounds.
4. Manage and create documentation for knowledge base solutions and procedures.
5. Provide technical support to middleware, SQA, Business and other stakeholder related to APIs using postman, JMeter, SOAP UI and by debugging the source code.
6. Responsible to extract data using SQL statements as per requirements.
7. Write store procedures for generating report according to requirements and for keeping logs.
8. Help teams to prepare the following documents: BRD (Business requirement document), EA (Enterprise Architect), FS (Functional specification), (impact analysis (IA), Solution design document (SDD), Object Transmitted Form (OTF), Behavior driven document (BDD), run book, Enterprise Architect Diagrams (EAD), Data Flow Diagrams (DFD), Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) etc.
9. Execute SIT using Postman, SOAP UI, JMeter for back-end, front end, load testing.
10. Participate in Business Process Re-engineering (BPRE) and review BRDs, FSDs of Transact and Equation for implementation purposes of both core banking technologies.
11. Involved in co-existence processes of Equation and transact and implement it to communicate both core banking technologies for specific teller transactions end to end process.
12. Build APIs i.e. (SOAP and RESTful) and deploy on IBM WebSphere for integration of CBS and other multiple systems.
Take active role in every phase of SDLC from requirement gathering to deployment.
1. Review and responsible for change request of core banking systems.
2. Involved in all business requirements phases, review and verify BRDs, finalize FSDs and evaluate their impact on the system.
3. Provide comprehensive support to a network of over 1, 000 branches and stakeholders, including project assistance, core banking system application support, and integrated API management through ITSM.
4. Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for APIs using Postman across multiple servers.
5. Deploy, re-deploy APIs on multiple servers to analyze the APIs behavior and guide concern stakeholders accordingly.
6. Offer advanced troubleshooting support for critical issues, identify the root cause and implement solutions to get them back on track, tasks involve resetting configurations, applying updates, and providing workarounds.
7. Manage and create documentation and knowledge base for solutions and procedures.
8. Offer technical support to middleware, business, and stakeholders, specializing in API troubleshooting using tools such as Postman, JMeter, SOAP UI and Manual Testing and troubleshooting.
9. Responsible to extract data using SQL statements considering business requirements.
10. Escalating complex issues which require deeper intervention by communicating the issue, user impact, and any troubleshooting steps taken.
11. Involved in QA, UAT and implementation of new versions, test the functionality, and identify any potential issues before deployment.
12. Analyze large datasets using Power Query and IBM Cognos to produce diverse reports for regulatory authorities.
Oversee and maintain the entire software and hardware network infrastructure.
