Install, troubleshoot, repair and perform maintenance and inspections on Tyco Integrated Fire & Security products
Systems, Access Control, CCTV, Intercom, Network infrastructure
Working on customers networks in conjunction with their IT personnel
Perform installation and verification activities on Security related equipment for large installations, including installing, testing and commissioning as per ULC Standards
Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems, programs, schematics and operational/product manuals
Evaluate and diagnose equipment that requires servicing as well as troubleshoot problems
Complete As Built drawings on the completion of the project
Maintain up to date knowledge of various product lines
Consult with Clients to assess risk and to determine Security requirements
Take part on 24hr on-call service rotation
Provide specific solutions and recommendations to customers on the most efficient and cost effective methods to return equipment to working order
Plans, performs and programs the security system to accommodate new security installations and relocation of Analog/IP CCTV and access control systems
The installation of all necessary raceways and cable Management for the systems wire infrastructure
Demonstrate proficiency in reading and understanding electrical schematics, PDF drawings, and related documents associated with installation and/or service of security systems
Completes programming, device verification and commissioning of CCTV and access control system as required
Respond to service requests, must be able to accurately diagnose CCTV and access control system hardware/software problems and adjust, repair or replace equipment as needed
Conducting site surveys
Assists in developing cost estimates and procuring equipment and installation materials
Installation of network connected devices and their programming
Completes job status reports, travel expense reports, safety logs, as-built drawings, and other documentation as required
Organizes and coordinates weekly meetings to discuss installation activities, changes, and developments with the customer and site personnel
Present a professional image at all times both in personal and vehicle appearance
Maintain and adhere to operational procedures and complete appropriate documentation
Operates any hand tools and equipment necessary to perform all associated tasks
Develop and maintain good relations with customers
Performs other project related duties and assignments as instructed by supervisor
Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)

Carry out product design through the full cycle.

System and the R&D Structure document.

• Ensure that management documentation is recorded e.g. time sheets.
• Lead periodical project review and product specification.
• Liaise with other teams in the company as required.
• Co-ordinate prototyping of products including testing, verification and revisions.
• Troubleshoot problems with the team and assist in other teams if required.
• Communicate with customers for input and feedback to products and perform
demonstrations.

Survey, Cabling (Underground, Pole to Pole & Concealed Wiring etc.
• Preparation of Technical Data Sheets for procurement, Technical Evaluations of
vendor offers, and Discussion with vendors and coordination with Buyer till

• Preparation of Integration diagrams, Technical data sheets, Functional Design
Specifications, Concept Study Reports, and Data Flow Diagram.
• Preparation of Architectural drawings, Wiring diagrams, Signal diagrams of system
& taking approval from client.
• Manage e EBI (Enterprise Building Integrator) installation and its integration
with CCTV, Access Control System & Alarm Systems Software Programming/
Maintenance of Close Circuit Television, Access Control System & Fire/
Security Systems & their network connectivity over LAN/ WAN (Internet)/
RAS/ Fiber optics connectivity as per application..
• Contract Review, Project site study/ survey, analysis of System requirements,
and preparation of complete BOQ for proposed system including Installation &
Commissioning material in the view of system integration, to ensure that the
System should work at site.
