Business Generation - India Feed

•Responsible to market air-time space and pitch in sponsorships for French Open, European Championship, Asia Cup, Bundesliga, Eredivise, WRC, ITTF, BWF, Nehru Cup, Copa Libertadores, International cricket in New Zealand & PGA Tour events.
•Liaise with media agencies to expand the channel’s potential in gaining media share from advertiser’s media spends.
•Servicing clients / agencies on media deliveries committed and ensuring the activity is executed properly with co-ordination amongst programming, scheduling & traffic team.
•Create, articulate & execute compelling value propositions around the sporting event to market the channel.

Operational Co-ordination

•Works in close synergy with the programming & marketing team in developing distinct advertising and promotional properties to clients looking out for a certain engagement & participation with viewers with their brand advertising. (Thailand Tee Off, Cox & Kings Golf Tours, TATA SAFARI Storme & Manza Update, Amul Bundesliga Updates & Top Goals of the week, etc.)
•Co-ordinate with the scheduling and traffic team in laying the order of the client’s commercial / infomercial TV airing schedule & works cohesively on the AFP scheduling strategies.
•Liaise with the legal team during contract negotiations with prospective advertisers.
•Monitor and prepare competitive & marketplace reports (TAM) in conjunction with the research team.



Online Media & New Initiatives

•Liaise with Tourism boards to create special advertorial segments around Golf and prime sporting events on the network, integrating destinations and promoting sports tourism (THAILAND TEE OFF Season 1 & 2).
•Conceive & pitch comprehensive activation plans for Golf Events / Golf Tours for corporate & alliance partners to collaborate and create a distinct IP.
•Maximizing revenue monetizing opportunities by covering advertiser’s funded on-ground events on television and merging events with relevant sports programming. (IBBF - World Body Building & Physique Sports Championship 2014, Hero Open Women’s - Indian Open 2013, Pre world Paragliding Championship 2013, Gujarat Cricket League, etc).
•Evaluating sport content from advertising revenue perspective and formulating reports to the management to study the potential revenue prospects to bid / retain the content. Properties worked on - FIFA World Cup 2014, BWF & BAI - Badminton Events, PGA Golf Events, BARCA TV, etc.
•Identified new platforms for mobile streaming & monetizing web platforms (cricket.nirvana.com)

Marketing & Sales - International

•Monetizing of the international feed of NEO Cricket across US, Canada & the Middle East markets.
•Working in tandem with the US counterparts & the Middle East concessionaires to manage and fill in ad-inventory space for LIVE sporting events & day time programming.
•Mapped advertisers & agencies buying Indian media inventory for their International media campaigns.
•Air-time sales of Neo Cricket’s overseas telecast rights with BCCI & ACC for the International cricket matches and cricket centric program on prime time viewing.
•Co-ordination with production & scheduling team to report logs, cue sheet and release order on severs to play spots on preferred time bands.
•Developing advertising propositions for contest / movie / brand / destination promotions with segments and vignettes created for clients to be distinct and innovative

Marketing & Sales

•Sales & Marketing of media inventories for the international feed of SET ASIA, SET MAX & SAB TV across markets catering to niche audiences.
•Marketing channel's footprint & reach amongst advertisers as a most preferred sub-continent channel for communicating with NRI's / PIO's in Middle East, US, Europe, Africa & South Asian markets, for up-scaling their business volumes or for launching new products/service in this markets.
•Develop advertisement propositions from the available media properties On Air & as well as on Ground for clients targeting the NRI / NRE audience group.

Business Development

•Identifying & meeting media agencies handling international clients to liaison with client's reference point at higher frequency.

• Sales of online advertisement inventories like Home Page Logos, Online Banners, per clicks, etc to clients like Godrej Appliances, Siemens, Bluestar, Bajaj Electricals, Zenith Computers, Essar Steel etc, Worked with these clients for their print campaigns also.
