• Delivered the new Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) for the ENBD Group by providing complete project management for a team over 55 people consisting of data modellers, data engineers, architects and testers with a budget of over 33 million AED.
• As part of the EDP setup, implemented the SAP FSDM reference model enabling Emirates NBD to be the first global users of the model.
• Managed a project to replace the transaction alert system for the group using the Smart Message technology platform through push notifications and mobile alerts
• Implemented the new Enterprise Data Warehouse for Sainsbury Bank using the Amazon Cloud.
• Managed the implementation of the new Loans Platform for Sainsbury Bank. Was responsible for all project management for the project.
• Responsible for contributing to the wider knowledge base of expertise and mentoring junior project managers and business analysts.

• Managed a 14-man year business intelligence project to develop a new financial management reporting system in the UK Data Warehouse (UKDW). This was to replace a mainframe-based system that had been operational since 1990. The cost of the project was over $14 million with benefits of over $60 million over the 3 years.
• Managed and developed a project team of over 30 resources to develop a credit card data mart for HSBC and partners. This included a conversion from an old system to a new one which was extremely complex as it required the replacement of several legacy applications that were out of support.
• Led the development and enhancement of the branch reporting system using the Agile methodology. Over 20, 000 staff members use this system across the UK and improving this system has helped the bank realised $40 million in revenue.
• In projects have led virtual teams that have been geographically dispersed and in London, India, China, Hong Kong.
• Managed a project to develop an events booking system based on the CRM system.
• Managed the Microsoft SharePoint intranet on a day to basis by administrating users and creating new pages.
• Introduced Novell ZENWorks 10 as an Asset Management system in the FE Sector
• Managed a project to develop an online events registration system based on the Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
• Supported the Information Services Manager in the development of the LSIS CRM system based on Microsoft Dynamics CRM, liaising with and managing contractors.
• Led the procurement of ‘The Excellence Gateway’ the national website for the further education sector.
• Organised the change program that involved moving from a Microsoft Excel system to a database driven product booking system.
• Managed the reporting data of the website to prepare reports for management and clients.
• Managed the development of websites for two company products (Employer Videos and Campaign Sites) by creating a project plan, assigning and monitoring tasks to ensure timely completion.
• Led a virtual team of 25 people to design and develop processes for implementation of the new account management process in country offices (22 countries) based on regional IT Services structure and achieved an efficiency increase over 35% and increased customer satisfaction. .
• Performed gap analysis between ITIL IT Service Management processes and the current processes running in country offices. This helped DHL IT Services achieve a cost saving of 25%
• Developed implementation plan based on country specific needs, estimated effort for country staff to implement ITIL Process.
• Reported to the project board at regular intervals and coordinated with the people outside the IT department to ensure the project was as per their requirements.

• Led a team that developed a RFID and biometric based Asset Management system
• Managed the development of an e-commerce portal for higher educational institutions by working with a university and a team of 8 software developers for 5 months.
• First point of contact for all software development projects for external clients. Executed over 25 different IT projects ranging from infrastructure development to ERP implementations. All of these projects involved process analysis and improvement.
• Create on average costs saving of up to 45 % for all clients by analysing their requirements and recommending business process change through IT solutions
• Established the department’s working processes as per ISO 9001:2000 requirements by mapping the department’s processes to ISO standards
• Organised the marketing, logistics and administration of a road show in collaboration with Mercury for raising awareness about automated software testing. This was attended by over 1500 people in 3 cities
• Managed data entry project for the National Commission for Human Development by managing 65 people inputting the data of 1.2 million basic household in 4 districts
• Coordinated the development of an Information Monitoring and Evaluation system, developed for the United Nations Development Program, was the focal point of communication between the client and the project team; giving presentations and reports on key milestones
• Coordinated information technology, office automation projects undertaken by the company by acting as a liaison between clients (government departments, pharmaceutical companies and small/ medium business) and the project team to ensure client requirements were met
