ROUTING & SWITCHING :
A diligent Network engineer with 4 years of extensive knowledge in Routing and switching.
My core responsibilities involves configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of Layer 2, Layer 3 Switches
and routers based on the best practices.
Routing & Switching:
 Configuring & Trouble shooting of routing protocols
(RIP, RIPv2, IGRP, EIGRP, OSPF & BGP)
 Redistribution, Route Filtering, Route Optimization
 Configuring Policy Based Routing (PBR)
 Advanced IP addressing (VLSM, Route Summarization & CIDR)
 Traffic filtering using Access Control Lists (ACL's)
 Backup and restore IOS & Configuration files
 Configuring VLANs in layer 2 & layer 3 switches & Inter-vlan routing
 Configuring 802.1q Trunk, ISL Trunk
 Configuring DTP, VTP and VLAN Filtering
 Configuring Spanning Tree Protocols ( STP )
 Configuring Port Fast, Uplink Fast & Backbone Fast
 Configuring enhancements of STP to PVST, RSTP & MSTP
 Configuring Layer 3 redundancy using HSRP, VRRP & GLBP
 Configuring Ether channel with different protocols and load balancing them
