GTC is remarkably known for its highly-reputed Distribution Services Network across Saudi Arabia for nearly 65 Years popularly well
known for its various FMCG product portfolios. I am managing the planning & forecasting for the following Principal Accounts;
Colgate Palmolive, Lindt & Sprungli Swiss Chocolates, Gulf Union Foods Co. (Original Juices), Topps International (Bazooka Candies &
Gums) USA, Riviana American Rice Inc. Hain Celestial (Tilda Rice) UK & India, SOLEN Confectionery & Chocolate Turkey, Lago Wafers
Italy.
• I am responsible for maintaining the effective balance between Product Availability, Inventory holding, WH Scrapping and
measuring the Sales Forecast Accuracy across the Kingdom for all Vendor products through robust demand / supply planning
and forecasting liaising with internal and external stake holders.
• Develop demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons. Review historical sales trends and do a
monthly sales history correction exercise to eliminate overselling, liquidations and out of stocks impact.
• Leading the Sales and Operations Planning Monthly Meeting exercise involving all relevant Stake Holders, during which the
projected monthly Sales Forecast and Budgets are compared and challenged.
• Currently active as a Core Team member and Power User in the ERP (SAP MM Module) Implementation.
• I am leading a Team of 2 immediate sub-ordinates and externally the In-bound Team across all Regional Warehouses (WH), I am
reporting to the Supply Chain & Logistics Manager.
• Measuring Sales Forecast Accuracy/Product Availability by brands across all regions Kingdom wide.
• Formulate inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs and closely coordinate and
communicate with Sales and Marketing.
My responsibilities in brief, not restricted to, were as follows:
• Leading monthly Demand Review Meetings with Sales/Marketing/Finance and Suppliers to finalize and execute demand
forecast plan for 3 - 6 months. Interact with Sales and Marketing to understand demand forecast drivers.
• Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated
sales and marketing assumptions.
• Closely monitoring In-bound shipments liaising with the clearance team to improve shipment lead time accuracy, and managing
the warehouse damage/expiries as a monthly activity.
• Liaise with Customer Service department to ensure fresh stocks allocation for Key Account customers through Company
customized ERP system, MFG Pro.
• Issue a monthly Score Card review which reflects the overall performance of the whole Supply Chain department.
• Issue Product Availability/Aging/Freshness/Exception reports to management on a daily/weekly basis.
DHL - EXEL WAREHOUSING), (3PL & RIYADH, KSA
DHL Exel Saudi Arabia is a Joint Venture of DHL and Exel, providing Supply Chain solutions 3PL services to their various B2B
customers; General Trading Company (GTC) was one of its well-known customers. My responsibilities in this role were as follows:
* Create purchase orders (PO) using customized ERP System MFG Pro.
* Communicating with the Suppliers, maintaining profiles, and adding new Vendor details in the ERP system.
* To ensure ordered quantities match PO quantities, and fresh stock in terms of shelf life are received from Supplier by verifying
production dates on original invoice(s) received compared to ASN.
* Insure shipments with the Marine Insurance, lodge Insurance claims, and archive records.
* Provide support to WH Team for Inbound shipments Receipts and Tracking.
I was responsible for providing recruitment services to Clients in the Middle East / GCC Region, along with maintaining beneficial
relations with the new/existing potential Clients.
