a) Work as a CSD engineer, job responsibility includes the site testing of 110 KV GIS Switchgear, power transformers, auxiliary transformer and 13.8 KV switchgear.
b) Scheme checks, protection relays testing, close loop activities etc.
c) Coordination with contractor, prepare weekly and daily reports of the project.
SKILLS:
-Good knowledge of scheme and interlocks checks of 110 KV GIS, line protection panels, transformer protection panels, automatic voltage regulator, automatic capacitor controls etc.
-Capable to conduct testing of MV and HV breakers, CTs and VTs.
-Proficient in testing of Protection Relays (Siemens, Schneider-electric and ABB make).

1. Project Management:
• Key Player of project team and involve from starting phase of project management activities.
• Start of project with order opening, partially involve with commercial team to create the project in SAP.
• Establishing project scheduling and planning.
•Directly involve in preparation of procurement or material requisition schedule of project, and be in close coordination with Purchase department.
• Close coordination activities with different business unit of Siemens for timely submission of design, manufacture and supply of equipments for the project.
• Participate in factory acceptance tests of various equipments like MV, LV switchgears and distribution transformer.
• Coordination with store department to deliver the equipment and resources to site
• Involves in order closing, handing-over of project to end client.
2. Testing and Commissioning
• Lead the team of installation, testing and commissioning of MV panels and transformers.
• Project review and study of Electrical Installation, Substation Equipment, Switchgear and Protection Schemes.
• Investigation and analysis of routine problems of Electrical System.
• Testing & Commissioning of Protection Relays.
3. Project Sales:
• Partially responsible for the preparation, co-ordination and management of tender bids for electrical infrastructure and retrofitting projects.
• Co-ordination and calculation of subcontract and material pricing, in accordance with the Procurement procedure etc.
• Coordination of all aspects of developing cost estimate and cost monitoring for projects in cooperation with project controllers.
• Follow up tender responses including involvement with post-tender negotiation.
1. Application working of Project
a. Preparation of tender bids for Independent power plants / embedded generation.
b. Selection of different equipments like Power Cables, Transformers, Switchgears, MCC and control cables etc.
c. Technical and commercial evaluation of quotation received from different suppliers of equipments like transformer etc.
d. Maintain the operational philosophy of the power house.
e. Maintain payment status of the project.
f. Finalizing the order with supplier / vendors of the equipments.
g. Technical correspondences with customer, consultant and suppliers or vendors.
2. Project Management
a. Hands on experience of installation activities of Gas and Diesel Generator Sets.
b. Lead the team, for lying of cables, installation of termination kits, MV and LV panels.
c. Check shop drawings of MCC panels, LV Panels, MV PANELS and LDBs.
d. Guide vendor / supplier to deliver the equipments according the project timeline.
e. Supervision of Electrical Installation Activities.
f. Witness testing (FAT) of LV and MV panels.
