I am managing a team of 12 professionals consist of technical and business analysts. Responsible for all software/core banking system deliverables, from requirement gathering, analysis, requirement finalization/sign-off, development, release management, testing/UAT and deployment support.
Interacting with PMO and IT of the bank for production support and change request discussion and priority setting. Supervising support desk, assigning and tracking all reported issues and presenting statics to the client and management. Managing stakeholder’s expectations.
Position Temenos T24 Functional Consultant
Responsibilities
I am part of BMI bank's team for T24 R8 maintenance and support. Main areas I am looking into are retail banking and retail credit.
• Primarily responsible for requirement gathering in close coordination with business users.
• Capturing and translating business requirements into functional requirement specifications document.
• Transforming business requirements into solutions with available option and features in T24.
• Working in collaboration with the business users and T24/Temenos Technical Analyst.
• Independently investigating problems, formulate solution proposals and discussing with business users.
• Working closely with Technology team for testing, and implementation activities.
• Keeping control of users' requirement and ensuring that they are meeting the bank standards.
• Maintaining record of users' requirements, enhancements, change requests etc. through Change Request Form.
• Defining new products and system parameters in T24 and documenting changes.
• Responding to queries raised by the users and development team on business/functional requirements.
• Involve in different project going on like IBAN and IS security policy implementation.
• Acting is single point of contact for business user for all issues related with T24 system.
• Assisting in project planning and management activities.
• Worked on extended company structure of T24, which is multi company and multi book. T24 versions are R8 and R5. My role is more of techno-functional.
• Responsible for solution design and operational support team of T24, modules are core, foreign exchange, money market, securities and other general banking areas like customer, account, data capture, funds transfer, teller, interest / charges, stock management, remittances and security management system.
• In-charge of parameter setup and deployments in live T24 environments. Administrative tasks are also performed like monitoring of TCServer, IBM WAS and MQ, communication with Temenos helpdesk for the system error resolution, its testing and correction application.
• As a part of T24 implementation team, I have been involved in business analysis of core and treasury modules. This includes interacting with users to gather business requirement in business review forms, performing gap identification, customization and local development where required.
• Managed data migration activities from legacy system data extraction to T24 system data and report verification
• Mapping GL line and monitoring GL miss-matches
• Managing user profiles and menus and implementing security policy
