• Preparing production & packing plan as per the variant / type and model wise and ordering the parts on time
• Receiving of parts as per the material receipt date as per ASN
• Planning of containers and vehicles for parts dispatch
• Ensuring full container ratio and cost reductions and avoiding vehicle hold
• Ensuring parts receipt at customer end without delay and providing shipment related documents
• Sea and Air shipments planning based on cost impacts and improve efficiency of container
• Quick decision making during LINE STOP threats and providing immediate actions and recovery plans
• Manage the Engineering change and implement the new level parts considering the stock.
• Parts adoption and abolishing tracking based on the Engineering changes.
• Forecasting the order with respect to the Engineering changes and validation
• Responsible for procurement of Raw materials from Tier 1 Suppliers based on Firm Orders
• Maintain the firm orders schedule and forecast schedule to Tier 1 suppliers & Tier 2 Suppliers
• Regular supplier capacity audits and ensuring the capacity utilization for upcoming projects
• Proposals for Establishing new tool, new lines, mold, casting etc during the demand
• Sharing the forecast to suppliers based on vehicle plan for Various Production Units for global NISSAN
• Ordering and follow-up of emergency orders and quality rejection parts and sending back the rejected parts
• Follow-up with suppliers for delivery schedule and pull in / push out as per material coverage
• Supplier Visits for getting the recovery plans & Ramp plan supportability and during supplier issues
• Updating Materials dispatch plan & recovery plan to customer or Supplier Risk Management Team (SRMT)
• Millrun Vehicle planning and window time maintenance from suppliers
• Coordinate with Parts Quality Assurance Team and supplier for quality rejection issue and for counter measures
• Interacting with Parts arrangement team for design change and for PSW / PPAP, Half tool status
• Supporting the Ramp up plans form customer On time by Air freighting the raw material for Tier 1 supplier
• Inventory control monitoring and sharing the trend chart weekly to management
• Managing the Returnable bins and packaging stocks sufficient at supplier end to avoid LINE STOPPAGES
• Managing of Export Documents like CT2 / ARE
• GPDS adherence and knowledge on Launch related activities and timely information’s
• System knowledge on various process handled in Launch - AIMS
• Continuous monitoring of Change & Engineering management system for timely updates
• Supporting Launch team during the prototype builds ensuring the issues are tracked properly
• Checking the ICA & PCA are implemented during the trail builds and reporting the results
