Prime Gate is one of the leading Managed Services Contractors with Saudi Telecom (STC). Responsibilities include providing operational control and support with a group of nearly 80 people based in 4 locations in Riyadh as well as Jubail.
One of the leading members of the PM and VM team managing several contractors for Kingdom wide field operations. Key responsibilities include work force allocation, optimization based on utilization, high level reporting, worked on several analysis and payment models / managed services. Initial focus was on Enterprise Delivery and Assurance but due to change in structure, current focus (Since March 2018) is on Delivery of all services to all customers.
1. From Oct 2010-2014 with TCI (Transformation Consulting International, a German Management Consulting firm) as partner. My assignment’s focus was to independently improve strengths in infrastructure for customer (STC) in the areas of: -
•Processes a) interaction within the company and b) customer/vendor related such as new Contract development and Vendor negotiations, SLAs and Service Providers (Service Assurance).
•Services planning, projects management and training (team grooming)
•Value added services based on Data Centre / Managed Services / Cloud
•Team skills development
2. From April 2009 - Sept 2010 with Alyaum newspaper Saudi Arabia as IT Management Consultant. Revived complete infrastructure on stat-of-art technologies, hired and groomed team and IT management to take over operations.
Electric Utility
KESC was privatised in Dec 2005 from a government ownership. The company was transformed by aggressively driving IT system implementation such as: -
•Upgraded Server room to a Tier-3 data centre
•Digital enablement of over 40 multi-story buildings and field offices
•Call centre to cater for consumer issues
•SAP ERP Implementation
•Training of hundreds of people to use technology, implemented IP Telephony to connect all offices, over 2, 500 extensions
•Created Disaster Recovery Centre and processes
•Introduced Smart / Automated meter reading technology for efficient customer billing and aggregate billing to control theft of electricity.
•SAP ISU (Industry Specific for Utilities) implementation project

Transported and implemented Data Billing solution for Kuwait Communications Ministry. The software was purchased from Etisalat UAE and then implemented for Kuwait Ministry after the 1990 Gulf War.
