VAMED is a leading global healthcare facility management provider specializing in comprehensive management services for healthcare facilities worldwide. Currently, I oversee procurement and supply chain operations at Reem Hospital in Abu Dhabi, aiming to enhance stakeholder value. My achievements include monthly savings of AED 350K in consumable procurement, optimizing inventory levels to AED 8.8M, reducing payroll costs by 20%, and minimizing stock count variance to 0.8%. I have also increased revenue by creating new rental spaces and renegotiating contracts, achieving CAPEX savings of AED 1.8M.
I have accomplished numerous notable enhancements in Kings operations. I managed to diminish the ratio of consumable expenses to revenue from the usual 20% to a mere 17%, thereby augmenting EBITDA. Additionally, I refined the effectiveness of supply chain circulation, resulting in a remarkable 99.5% fill rate and inventory turnover 12. I successfully renegotiated service agreements, culminating in a 17% reduction in monthly payouts. Additionally, I curtailed the average inventory holding from AED 21M to AED 14M. I formulated an operational manual for PSCM, catering to Kings hospitals worldwide, except for the UK. Finally, I integrated automated supply chain procedures, reducing staffing requirements by 30% and enhancing operational efficiency.
I led procurement and supply chain operations for five hospitals and a university in Pakistan and managed a global construction procurement and supply chain team across Pakistan, East Africa, and Afghanistan. My efforts resulted in significant supply chain improvements, achieving a 99.8% fill rate for consumables, increasing inventory turnover from 5 to 9, and reducing inventory variance to 0.3%. I also lowered the consumables to revenue ratio from 20% to 17%. Additionally, I successfully commissioned eight service line hospital projects, two university greenfield construction projects in Pakistan, and two hospital projects in Afghanistan. I managed the renovation of over 350 hospital and university projects and led multiple JCIA, CAP, and ISO audits for the division.
