Under the Hanns Seidel Stiftung, Encouraging women nature-based economic opportunities, I was responsible of the “Herbal Infusion preparations from Lebanese herbs” project:
• Setting the project workplan, timeline in order to launch and complete the project within the dedicated deadline (1 Month).
• Planning the training agenda, and assisting in the recruitment process of the trainer
• Procuring required production material and close follow up with suppliers to guarantee the quality of products received.
• Follow up on industries and meeting chamber of commerce, trade and agriculture president to deal on filling process.
• Assisting in research for different blends, proportions, calculations and listing each blend benefit.
• Assisting in designing logo and branding the end product.
• Planning and conducting 3 tasting sessions for public, one of them at the Lebanese Christmas Market, by Marc Beirouti. A scoring sheet was developed to track different blends prepared and develop the product accordingly.

Managing OOS results, handling investigations, monitor and train the team on aseptic behavior and techniques, ensure compliance with pharmacopeias and guidelines.

● Develop equipment qualification protocols: performance qualification, calibration, verification, temperature mapping
● Inspect & monitor compliance with USP, GMP, ISO & WHO.
● Maintain the Quality Management System for best laboratory and manufacturing practices.
● Review microbiological batch records to assure compliance with approved procedures, GMP, ISO & regulatory requirements.
● Supervise testing and processing in the lab to ensure and maintain the accredited quality of pharmaceutical water, raw material and finished products.
● Participate in deviation, change control & customer complaints.
● Manage & handle Out Of Specs results investigations in the QC and with other departments through technical committees with defined goal to set adequate corrective and preventive actions.
● Ensure team development by tracking latest techniques and guidelines updates and performing continuous trainings and discussions about advanced test methods and equipments.
● Evaluate employee performance through their Key Performance Indicators.
● Directing the lab workflow, setting schedules for QC activities, daily tasks, follow up on the implementation.
● Manage & monitor the lab inventory
● Create and implement all procedures required for testing and processing in the lab.
● Report on the performance & opportunities for improvement of QC process by monitor achievement of the quality objectives.
● Participate in management reviews of process performance, product quality & of the QMS, & advocate continual improvement.
● Adjust resource utilization for the effective implementations of the quality control planning.

Microbiological Evaluation of Clean Rooms and other controlled environments (Classes A, B, C, & D) during Filling, Formulation and Weighing of raw materials & products, media fills and sterility
testing: passive and active testing of the air, surface swabs and personnel sampling.
* Establishment of Action & Alert Levels in Controlled Area, tracking out of specs results and
establishing corrective actions.
* Sterility Testing for products, raw material, compressed air and other gazes.
* Endotoxin Test by Gel Clot Technic for Raw material, Product and Water.
* Assisting in validation methods for media shelf life, disinfectant efficiency and shelf life.
* Microbiological examination of nonsterile products: microbial enumeration tests for Raw Material & Finished Product
* Microbial Limit Test by membrane filtration for WFI and Ultra-Pure Water
* Antibiotic assay for antibiotics by Cylinder Plate Method.
* Testing proteins by SDS Gel Electrophoresis & immunoblotting.
* Mastering Aseptic techniques in testing and Qualified to enter Class A rooms and attend Media Fills,
* Assisting in performance qualification and validation programs for LAF, Autoclaves, HEPA filters
and Pass Box, and cleaning validation for vials filling machine parts.
* Maintenance of microorganisms, bacterial identification (Gram stain, Remel..) and standardization of inoculums using McFarland standards.
* Sampling of raw materials and Water of Injection following aseptic techniques and behavior.
*Media preparation and growth promotion test.
*Maintain lab in audit ready and in compliance to cGMP.
Preparation of Standard Operating Procedures and Standard Test Methods in compliance with
International Pharmacopeias, WHO and other guidelines.
* Initiation of purchasing requests and forecasts to control laboratory inventory.
*Cell Culture Techniques according to cGMP, fibroblast amplification.

Analyzing Biopesticide & identifying the kind of bacteria by real time PCR.
Working in the formulation department: preparing & analyzing pesticides on GC-FID.
Extraction of residue from vegetables samples in the residue department by applying quenchers method.

Training with the FAO expert within the laboratory, on the following subjects: Analysis of pesticide residues in olive oil using techniques of purification by Gel Permeation, Analysis & identification of solvent by headspace GC\MS, Analysis of Glyphosate on HPLC, Validation of methods on GC-FID.

Supervising, within the Laboratory & under the direction of Dr. Hayar, a Master’s student, Sara Gharib, Lebanese University, FS, Fanar. Thesis:studying the resistance of powdery mildew to certain pesticides. 80pages. Very Good.

Administrative responsible for the academic process, managing
the academic advisers, enrollment councilors and staff. Day-to-day management and operation of the department.
