Cultural Attache is the highest position at the Omani Cultural Division in UAE.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare all sort of letters to Higher Education institutes and Government entities in both Oman and UAE
- Participate in annual budget preparation.
- Resolve students' issues at their colleges/universities.
- Resolve employees matters.
- Follow-up with students' activities.
- Follow-up with scholarship students.
• MS Access Database Developer & Administrator.
o 2011, Built an e-document workflow database to enhance Boss-Employee communication and to minimize the use of paper.
o 2003, Built -with help- a Student Database to capture personal and academic information (both, typed and scanned), including the interaction of Smart Document attestation, which was done by Amricon, and automatic webpage generation with updated information from the database.
• Website Developer & Administrator.
o Development and administration of www.omanca.ae
• Omani Students' Annual Statistical Booklet Development.
o Gather Omani Students statistics from higher education institutes in UAE to build and form the booklet, including designing the cover.
• UAE Higher Education Annual Student Guide Development.
o Gather information from higher education institutes in UAE either through direct contact with directors/presidents or from their web site and build the guide, including designing the cover. The guide consists of academic and financial information to better help students/parents make the right decision.
• Office Electronics & Machinery.
o In charge of purchasing, upgrading, maintaining, and/or replacing all electronics and machinery.
• Other duties include:
o Cultural Attache representation in some university/college events.
o Graduation certificates printing,
o Student care representative,
o HEAC online registration student support.
o PC Maintenance and Troubleshooting.
• Proxy Server Administration.

• PC Troubleshooting (serving approx 200 employees).
• Monthly Troubleshooting Report.

• Workshops for employees (file utilities) and managers (Internet & e-mail usage)
