Project : All internal MOC project related to PDH, PP, LDPE, HDPE, Ethaline cracker, UTOS, Logistics and SAMCO.
Responsibility:
Management of project planning and scheduling functions, which include schedule development, schedule analysis.
Co-coordinating for the plant change modification for (MOC) meeting with operation, inspection and maintenance for preparing of engineering drawing, scope of work and execution of the same, during plant shutdown and non-shutdown, depending up on criticality of job.
Major Projects handled:
TETRA radio system for TPC: Complete radio system including tower and pre-fab shelter with electrical feeders from substation, fire alarm system and integration with IT network to meet the RC specifications.
QC laboratory two story building: Reviewed, approved designs, identified spare feeders and managed implementation for new QC Lab building for Electrical scope including power distribution panels, HVAC panels, Fire and gas system, Public address system, Data and VOIP system.
Cooling fans system PLC: Implemented a cooling fans system PLC based from SIEMENS for LDPE plant transformer.
Radioactive level transmitters: addition of side detectors for reactors level in PP plant, improved the control response greatly compared to existing top detectors
Steam network modification: Integration of the steam network between PDH and EC, including addition of control valves and modification of control philosophy
Established a small automobile refurbishment Centre. The business comprises of buying old cars with body defects or mechanical defects analyze the issues and develop a maintenance and refurbishment plan. After that marketing the new refurbished cars while generating value and revenues. Revenues achieved are about 40% of the car prices.
Project : Moleeta Field Processing Facility (FPF) and Operation Base Camp (OBC), Aljabaleen CPF and Palogue FPF Expansion Project (Phase II)
Responsibility:
Management of project planning and scheduling functions, which include schedule development, schedule analysis.
Managed the site works and successfully completed the commissioning of Palogue FPF expansion and new DCS and ESD integration.
Experience on Field Improvement Projects (FIP) instrument and control design reviews and procurement process from the FEED, invitation to bid (ITB) to the selection of bidder and Contracts issuance.
Major Projects handled:
Staroil Early Production Facility: As a Lead Instrument and Control Engineer to manage the works from FEED, detail engineering up to the construction and commissioning of the plant as timely scheduled duration.
Two run crude fired boilers: Successfully Commissioning of Two run crude fired boilers at Palogue FPF, and one run Natural Gas fired boiler at Staroil EPF.
DCS of Palogue FPF: Managed to solve an issue of abnormalities noticed in the DCS of Palogue FPF by coordinating the RCA, troubleshooting and capitalizing on the maintenance shutdown, increased the reliability and availability of the system.
Interface level transmitters: Solved the issue of interface level transmitters (Guided wave radar) in-accurate readings by recalibrating the transmitters on site increased the oil/water separation by 40%.
GAS boot for Palogue FPF: Successfully completed an addition of new gas boot Palogue FPF construction along with design reviews with critical limited work schedule.
Completed the commissioning of SCADA (Siemens S7) in two weeks and solved all the interface problems aroused with the MCC.
Completed the pre-commissioning and commissioning of Yokogawa DCS and Hima ESD/FGS (Moleeta FPF) which had 1000 loops within schedule.
Reduced the response time between the DCS/ESD & MCC from 30seconds to 3 seconds.
Commissioned the Custody transfer Metering Skid at Moleeta FPF.
Successfully completed the pre-commissioning and commissioning of new ABB DCS and ESD integration with the working system at Palogue FPF.
Successfully commissioned the integration of the new runs of Custody transfer metering skids with the working system at Palogue FPF (Participated earlier in the design FAT and Installation).
Commissioned Multi-phase metering skids at Adar FSF(Field Surface Facilities).
