The Operational interface with EEHC dispatch, in particular, assures the quality and accuracy of information exchanged with EEHC dispatch and control center. Overall management of the operating conditions of the plant and its equipment. Reviewing and coordinating the training program, including the simulator training, assure employees have the opportunity to develop and maintain skills level needed to meet or exceed performance expectations, including, safety and environmental training. Assuring that operation activities are prioritised and conducted in a manner, which takes into account dispatching priorities and operator needs. Acting as a team leader or member of process improvement teams to support business goals actively pursue cost reduction through better operation procedures. Supervising the good operation of the chemistry laboratory, and the respect of the chemical specifications. Ensuring the respect of the safety regulation by the personnel of its department, or any personnel working under equipment placed under its responsibility. Leading the morning "work management meeting".
Managing and following the qualification of the operation department staff. Conducting periodic evaluation meetings ( at least annual) with the department managers Shift Charge Engineer, Operation Engineer, Laboratory Section leader.
Recruiting the staff in accordance with the plant requirements. Delivering staff qualifications and their renewals.Validating replacements, absences and vacations. Defining the staff reinforcement to put in place regarding the needs. requirements. Prpairing the operation's budget forcast. Deputising the Plant Manager during his vacations.
