Responsibilities:
1. Monitor and analyze all parameters which affect the thermal efficiency of the combine cycle power plant.
2. Monitor and analyze parameters effecting load of the units.
3. Observe closely associated auxiliaries and device ways to reduce them.
4. Preparing reports on thermal performance of the Power Complex.
5. Coordinating with maintenance sections for the improvement of Plant Performance.
6. Prepare and Execute Annual Capacity Test (ACT) of the Complex.
7. Prepare and Execute quarterly Heat Rate Test of the Complex as per O&M contract.
8. Ensure correct declaration of Declared Available Capacity, Adjusted Declared Available Capacity and Revised Declared Available Capacity to NPCC on daily basis to avoid the capacity loss.
9. Guiding Operation Engineers with regard to commercial aspects with NPCC.
10. Verification of Gas Bill in liaison with SNGPL and NPPMCL as per Gas Supply Agreement (GSA).
11. Performing fuel oil stock verification in liaison with NPPMCL as per O&M Contract.
12. Ensuring compliance with Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).
13. Managing outages for the units keeping in the view status of Forced Outage allowance.
14. Guiding Operation Engineers with regard to commercial aspects with NPCC.
15. Correspond with CPPA-G and other statutory departments for technical and commercial issues.
Responsibilities:
1. Managing operation of the plant in a smooth, efficient and safe manner during shift hours as per DOP agreed with WAPDA, OEM recommendations and local procedures/instructions.
2. Written and verbal communication with NPCC, RCC and SNGPL regarding Operation of Plant.
3. In case of any fault, participate in trouble shooting and taking remedial actions.
4. Assisting Principal Engineer Shift in implementing IMS in my area and promoting safety awareness.
5. Identifying and analyzing important operating parameters for predicting potential faults and report/ purpose the remedial action.
Achievements:
1. Five times successfully conducted Annual Dependable Capacity Test (ADC Test).
2. Boiler start-up time was optimized to avoid un-necessary commercial loss due to delay in boiler connection.
3. Part of KAPCO team who successfully resolved the Liquidated Damages issue with CPPA-G/WAPDA.
Responsibilities:

7. Preparation of monthly invoices for Capacity, Energy, PLAC, OCC, Start-up and True up invoices.
8. Liaison with finance section for the settlement of disputes with CPPA-G, SNGPL and PSO.
9. Liaison with SNGPL to reconcile fuel gas payments with respect to Gas Supply Agreement (GSA).
10. Fuel Order to PSO keeping in view generation demand and stock levels at site as per Fuel Supply Agreement.
11. Ensure prefect measurement of fuel oil and Gas.
12. Performing fuel oil stock verification and liaising with PSO regarding fuel oil supplies.
13. Ensuring compliance with Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).
14. Performing cost benefit analysis against outages taken for Performance improvement.
15. Managing outages for the units keeping in the view status of Forced Outage allowance.
16. Guiding Operation Engineers with regard to commercial aspects with NPCC.
17. Conducting testing/calibration of energy meters annually.
18. Prepare management reports for reviewing current business and future prospective.
19. Correspond with CPPA-G/WAPDA and other statutory departments for technical and commercial issues.
20. Correspond with other National and international agencies regarding Environmental, Statically data and other queries.
