Misc Responsibilities

•Analysis of opex and capex incurred for Logistic Cost Centre.
•Supervising Fixed Assets accounting including Additions, Transfers, Retirement etc.
•Set up and supervise annual physical count.
•Fixed Assets Acquisition, Revaluation, Transfer, Disposal, Depreciation & Inventory
•Review and reconcile period capital spending, including parts capitalization
•Maintain fixed asset register based on changes in the fixed asset inventory
•Accounting of Revenue and Receivables
•Produce & communicate reports on accounts payable on a daily/ weekly basis
•Ensure that the different types of payments are made accurately and entered into the system
•Checking of vouchers including petty cash, bank payment, journal voucher, AP & AR entries
•Reviews, investigates and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries
•Follow up with Purchase Department in submission of timely supplier invoices
•Accounting of Insurance, rent, commission and other prepaid expenses
•Accounting of Payroll, leave and indemnity & reconciliation of employees related balances
