•To review and develop operating procedures for existing plants and new modifications to ensure safe start up and integrate with those of other affected sections.

•To provide advice and guidance to the Operations staff in solving operating problems and optimizing/monitoring conditions through data acquisition, analysis and applications to assure reliability and to achieve high efficiency.
•Develop action plans to assure Urea Plant production due to upstream plant upsets
•Maintain good surveillance at the area, highlight plant abnormalities and raise maintenance notifications as needed with continuous follow up on repairs
•To promote safety and environmental awareness among team members. Ensure compliance to all Company Safety, environment and Quality policies and programs.
•To participate and provide high quality input in various studies like Hazop, SIL, Risk assessment, Root Cause Analysis etc.
•To review the operating data as per the planned production targets, past and present prevailing conditions including laboratory analysis, operating plant performance; highlight any major deviations from the operating envelopes (parameters), and ensure suitable actions are taken towards their mitigation.
•To review, monitor overall reliability efforts and participate in reliability improvement programs, like problem identification, root cause analysis and recommendations.
•To prepare reports for all abnormalities and alarm management system. Produce specialized reports as required, such as recommendations for improvements
•Pertaining to safety, energy saving, cost saving and operation convenience.
•Plan and execute annual maintenance turnarounds
•Inspection of high pressure vessels using UT / ET techniques for long term reliability
•Assure new / existing installation, projects ideas
•Assures that the unit operates within the KOP/COP (Key Operating Parameters) limits
•Carry out all work in accordance with safe working policies, procedures and practices and comply with any site-specific requirements
•Comply with Company safety rules and work permit procedures
•Enforces compliance of safe working practices by staff and contractors
•Monitor the operation of plant and equipment consistent with SHE procedures and environmental targets
•Maintain product specification within documented quality parameters as necessary make process adjustments to return product to quality parameters
•To provide professional advice to Operations staff in solving operating problems to assure reliability, high efficiency and to achieve best practice production in line with HSE Management System
•Motivate staff through development of strong supportive relationships and setting of SMART personal goals
